  1. Yours is easy - Lemmy Kilmister. If only it were that simple. I can just imagine where Flee's creative energies will take this image I posted back in June... I may try to head him off at the pass by sending along a suggestion or two before I end up overlooking Rio! Is this the message board equivalent of giving yourself a nickname? Pandering to be Flee'd is just slightly less savory than pandering for a custom title. But it is not beneath me.
  2. I don't know....I see it pretty well. Stick an old gray goatee on that picture, its you baby!!!!! Do it FLEE! I hope I look as good as Storms at his age. I also hope that we have flying cars like the Jetsons by then.
  3. You should get a hi res scan before Sean goes on a killing spree over that image. Hell, I'd wear that t-shirt. PS: I never thought anything Flee did would make me laugh harder than the Old West Flaming Telegraph one. But Bedrock and Dale has had me laughing out loud intermittently since last night.

  5. Without a doubt the most hard-boiled and macho celebrity book in my collection:
  6. Are 60000 copies of Aquaman being printed on a regular basis or is this just a math exercise? I can do it too. If print run is 30k, that puts this at a 3k print run. Try it everyone!
  7. My kudos should be very minimal. I carried this book for a short time to try and get Sean Young and most likely cracked it out with Balent.
  8. I am a slave to logic, and logic compels a similar outcome for a defect that is categorized in a similar fashion. Nutsack crease, Diagonal miswrap, Wolvie 35 cranker crunches. Don't hate the player, dog.
  9. As stated, my assumption is that they do not go all the way through the paper, or something that makes it a truly minimal example of the production defect.
  10. Ditto. It's obviously a 9.8. But it's the same as all the 9.6's aside from the number on the slab. Why's this one special enough to be a 9.8 and all the other copies aren't? If this one's a 9.8 then they should all get a 9.8 if you resub them. That's just illogical, Steve. Obviously, this was not "the same."
  11. I'm not expressing an opinion on this copy, but are you saying that, if it's the nicest copy, it's a 9.8? That's the impression you're giving, but I'm sure that's not what you're intending. That is exactly what I am saying. I am assuming that the defect is considered a printing defect. It can't be completely ignored as some printing defects are, because it is atrocious. In the event that there are copies where the printing defect does not actually damage the paper (as most of the examples are tears) they are the 9.8s. It is consistent with the way they treat other printing defects. I don't like seeing those mutated abortion miswraps, or King Kong nutsack creases in 9.8 slabs, but everyone says "Oh its a printing defect." Why should this be different?
  12. Disagree. If it is the nicest copy with the smallest impact of the printing defect, especially if it is the only copy thus far where the paper is not broken, it should get a 9.8.
  13. I added Sean Young to my Blade Runner book and got this from Dean Cain. I am still butthurt by the teasing that I took from Caira over this:
  14. That would be the douchiest thing ever. Only for the non-lawyers. You wouldn't understand. Get a clue. Hmmmm. Clearly I should have used instead of . How about this one.
  15. "Bloody Disgusting further surmises that the movie would take place after the show concludes, much like Sex and the City and The Smurfs." The Smurfs???
  16. This thread is a cure for insomnia.
