  1. This one is under new management! And here is my first Adam West and Burt Ward book. It was about time.
  2. Except to my understanding that isn't what happened here. A user on the probation list buys from a member, who sells him them book - then said user tells everyone here that the list doesn't mean mess to him. So, that's why I'm asking if there is something else that sellers should do, because the "never allowed" clause seems to be optional in this example. Dre pretty much fell on his sword. It is clear that he didn't know (or the die had already been cast) the guy was on the PL until too late. Plus once you back out of a deal (for someone being on the PL) you run the risk of your own rep getting run through the mud. I'm not going to speak for Dre, but my impression is that if he could go back and do it all over, he wouldn't have sold to the PL offender. But once he was in it as far as he was, he didn't feel comfortable backing out. There but for the grace of god, go I.
  3. GPA on this book is EYE-OPENING! I checked it based on a sales thread and I am stunned.
  4. Money talks. But it can't sing and dance. And it can't walk.
  5. There are two X-Men Legacy listings one shows 1 SS book, the other shows 6 of that variant. Thank you, come again.
  6. I cannot be redeemed. I have agreed to take the -script to SWII to the heart of Mt. Doom and plunge it in.
  7. You might be remembering the magazine. There was SuperPro #1 magazine that was hitting the stands at almost exactly the same time.
  8. The label is right and everything!!! We could have added Larry B. Scott at that show - he was a Cobra Kai as well. Not that there was any room to put him.
  9. Agreed. I think the purple double chin is the most offensive part of the whole piece.
  10. Planetary is one of the books that I have thought about completing the set on. I did the 1st 5 years ago and just stopped. Too many other things to get, I reckon. Great book Richie, especially with the trademark Henn "little headsketch."
  11. Here is a link to mine with some very cheap SS and some not so cheap SS. Some blue labels, a Dave Stevens rarity and more!!!! http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=5377546&fpart=1
  12. Some Silver and Bronze slabs in this thread - ASM 76 9.6, ASM 129 9.0 and several Sig Series books. http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=5376986&Main=245800#Post5376986
  13. Thanks for having my back. What are you talking about? I did it for you. I can't have nice kids like you following me off the cliff!!! Just say no to calling it Platinum. Only you can prevent the stupidifcation of the Interwebs.
  14. I googled the hell out of it and came up dry. The regular #1 had CapCity orders of 250k+, so the actual print run is bound to be a lot higher than that. I have seen longboxes full of the regular editions. I wouldn't be surprised if it were double that or more. CapCity in 1993 was roughly 15%-25% of the market. 250K for CapCity would be a print run around 1Million to 1.7Million.
  15. The fact that CGC uses the B&W nomenclature is probably reason enough to go with that. I'd like to apologize to the Internet for ever calling it the "Platinum" version in the 1st place. You are all now stupider because of me.
