  1. I will also throw up my Alice In Wonderlands and Peter Pans. Those were a beeyotch as well.
  2. I can tell you that that one is a white logo copy. I have a couple more and I have way more Shroud of Mysterys than I do Shadow Plays, so I will check logo color on those.
  3. Nope, that drekky title went only four issues and it is noted in the Overstreet Guide. And as a fan of 90s Marvel drek, I'm proud to say I have the full four issue run. Any other guesses? Pirates of Dark Water
  4. Thanks for posting this!! A couple of weeks ago, I put together as comprehensive a list as I though there could be to go hit a couple of LCS' with. That book was on the list and I knew I had never seen it. I had no idea what the cover would be, and I should have known I wouldn't have been disappointed. Comprehensive Dave Stevens Checklist! (thumbs u I used that! It has so much extraneous stuff on it, though, that I wanted a comic only list. But that is what I used to compile it. I don't trust the source enough to certify that it is comprehensive, though.

  6. Was going through boxes last night and I came upon a longbox that was almost all my OO books from 1986-7. It was interesting to see what I was reading at the time and what survived in good condition vs. what didn't. My technique at the time was to put four moderns in a silver age bag. Amazingly, these all survived in 9.4-9.8. Many many others were not so lucky. The Marvel project sketch cover has amped up my nostalgia for these books. I especially like the Cloak and Dagger.
  7. Weren't several of the Broadway Comics books limited to 500?
  8. So not Thai Baht? It's actually an interesting book. I didn't always know what was going on, but it was interesting. I will find my copies. They were signed by Paul Pope on the inside cover and have bled through terribly to the outer cover, but they are still sweet. PS: This is supposed to be about 80's books. Gower gets 50 lashes with a modern floppy.
  9. Posted this is SS Room, but not here. Still waiting for a Chuck Norris signing:
  10. The former Mayor of New York was selling comics in the 90's....? Guess he needed to slum it... no, wait . . . As far as I was concerned in the 80's and 90's Joe Koch was the mayor of New York!!
  11. I have a sweet Star group shot on the works. I may have to do it in bunches. I forgot that I did a buy from Ed Koch in the late 90s that had a bunch of Star #1s in it.
  12. No idea. The GCD has very little info. It notes that it has only house ads so I am thinking it was multi-pak only.
  13. My money is on the fact that Doc Joe now owns that book.
  14. I like the one with more Saturn Men.
  15. What happens when we quote a fingh post? Entertainment abounds, outlooks improve, and ladies swoon.
  16. Every time one of you quotes an akanni23 post an angel gets pistol whipped . . .
  17. I just googled that. I am going to have to check that movie out sometime. It sounds funny and Dorothy Stratton was
