  1. Wow! Nice book. Are you saying that the Edgar Church is now your undercopy?
  2. I think we are all enjoying them...maybe a little less of the emphasis on the grade (picture is worth a 1000 words and all), and more on the coolness or rarity of the book might be better, but I have enjoyed them (thumbs u +1
  3. Beautiful additions, Billy. Master 40 is super tough in decent shape.
  4. I recognize that panel... I own the original strip. Of course you do! This blows my mind just a little bit. I can't tell if this was an incredible coincidence or a very likely outcome, given BangZoom's collection. Either way, it's very cool. (thumbs u
  5. Ahhhhh, the infamous cover where the femme fatale is somehow topless when viewed from the back! That's a great copy of an awesome book. Nice pick up, Alanna. (thumbs u
  6. Wow. I was just reading about Flippity and Flop because I wondered how it related to Sylvester and Tweety timewise. It turns out that the combination of the cat and bird was originally Flippity and Flop in 1945. Apparently, although Tweety first appeared in 1942 and Sylvester in 1945, they didn't appear together until 1947. Very cool.
  7. who else could it be John? His less well known cousin, the Scarlet Cranium? Or the Crimson Skeletal Head.
  8. At the risk of generating interest and demand in comics that I don't have yet, am I the only one that is impressed with Bud Thompson's style on the later issues of Captain Marvel Jr? It seems like there was an interesting change in direction across the Fawcett line at that time. The last 20 issues of Captain Midnight have some of the most interesting covers of the entire run (excluding Mac's work). If you have these books and feel like showing them, please feel free as many are not in the photo-journals. (thumbs u If you don't have these books, forget I mentioned them. Don't consider buying them any time soon. There Fawcetts, for goodness sake! Nobody cares about them. They only go down in value.
  9. Nah, she's got mice. It's not shading. She's got mice.
  10. Yet another book that looks much better in hand than the scan suggests.
  11. Wow. That's an accomplishment, sir! I seem to recall you were going for 1-20, correct? Very impressive. (thumbs u
  12. Well, maybe not that strongly. It just seems a little off for his work.
  13. That panelrama is absolutely awesome. Beautiful cover. Nice copy, sir!
  14. I agree that he's trying to mimic Raboy, but the face is definitely not Raboy. (thumbs u
  15. Wow. Still looking for my copy of that book. That and Green Lama 6 are the best Raboy covers. Something about the breaking of the swastika that is so iconic. Some of these Master Comics are just miserably hard to find. All locked up in collections, I imagine.
  16. Nice grab, I always wondered how the penguin story worked out. I wish the Shazam Archives went up that far. Cool stuff.
  17. And... awesome books. I especially like the Chamber 23 cover. Those Harvey's are tough in high grade but those are sweet copies. (thumbs u
  18. Ooooh, where did that come from? Great copy, Billy! I've always loved that cover. (thumbs u
  19. These are just incredible books, RHG. Thanks for posting! (thumbs u Anymore?

  22. Would you guys please keep your mess together for 5 minutes? I'm tired of you all sharking your responsibilities. Move your bass and let's see some comics!
  23. Someone hit in the face with a fish is likely to flounder and drop his gun. Sorry, but that scenerio seems a little fishy to me. It's no lie. I'm telling you. It's absolutely, 100% completely trout.
