  1. I personally wouldn't want to buy a book that the seller didn't have in their possession, however I can see a problem with a seller outside the US sending a book in for grading and having to ship it home to then ship it back to the US after selling it.
  2. Yeah, here is the raw. I like my books raw so have only sent in for slabbing once, just to try it and it was a disaster, I sent 10 books, the 2 x TMNT with stickers I was told wouldn't matter, my JIM 83 what I had for years came back purple, a 9.8 candidate TOD #1 I caught on the bag and put a 1" split in the front cover, etc. I think I was happy with 1 out of 10 books, never again.
  3. Saved you a job Bob, not sure if the content is worth cracking the slab for, its all a bit short, this is all the Frazetta
  4. in 1959, I was just a wicked thought in my Dads brain, my 127-130 are cents copies, no stamps, my 131 is a cents with a 5 stamp, I was just following up on what Albert said as my copies were nothing like the ones he mentioned, soz if I caused some confusion.
  5. I never liked or collected the British reprints, but as always managed to gain some at some point, here are a few
  6. Yeah, and totally blagged the space ship
  7. My 61 is an 8 and my 68 is a slab, cant put my hands on it but I bought it from a US seller so I assume no stamp
  8. I did have a better Pence copy back in the day but its one of the few comics I ever sold when I was skint in the 90s, I sold it to someone in Hawaii for £100
  9. I guess the binder didn't protect this one much
  10. Still not satisfied with any of these, maybe one day I will get it right
