My only qualifying book this month is a low grade effort and is nowhere near a classic as in the above interesting discussion. However it is another book ticked off the list and I am happy to have it

Someone wrote some names on a comic, maybe they are genuine but putting them in that slab doesn't verify them, quite the opposite for me. I wouldn't believe a PGX sig, if I witnessed it myself

I collected them as a kid, but once I found the originals, that was all I wanted, the only title I collected was Spider-Man as that was my favorite but as I got an original it replaced the British reprint in my collection and I wallpapered my first comic room walls and ceiling with the covers of the British Spiderman comics, I wish I still had a photo of that room, it was quite striking, or so I thought at the time, probably my most expensive wallpaper too Back in the day, I bought out of newspaper ads and sometimes a sale was all or nothing, so acquired lots as most kids had a mixture of British and US

My British stuff has been buried for 25+ years as I never really collected it, I really need to dig it all out sometime and grab some pics, maybe pack some of it a bit better too

I live in the UK and buy all the time on the boards but lately its been more and more a select few. Some boardies say they will ship international but want contact before the I have given up on this as by the time you send a PM and wait for the reply ( time difference can be a factor) the book is gone. Others say they dont ship international as its too expensive I pay the postage costs yeah its expensive but I am more than happy to pay if I want the book. I have bought 1000s of books here, books as low as a couple of dollars to 4 figure books, I honestly dont see the reason why it can be so tough for some, yet so easy for others. I also see a lot of books going unsold in threads that I would have bought Time to sort it out sellers
