Those 5.0s are total killer copies and definitely look undergraded to me. Even the BC scan is a beauty!

I went and looked back from my invoice from MCS when I purchased the book and it's the exact same photo they used. They just cropped the name off the lower right hand side! That book went to a fellow boardie for the upgrade of my current 6.0 copy. I wonder if he would feel free to chime in whether or not he still has it or could also confirm this particular ebay auction is using this stock photo for a dubious sale.

Yeah, I think 260k for an 8.0 and 53k for a 5.0 are more proof of higher prices. Nothing "stagnant" happening with AF15 anytime soon.

I just popped over there and saw that. Now this!

I think prices are right where they are supposed to be. I figured 50-55k for the 6.0 and it was there on the low end. Definitely not in the stratosphere where the CC auctions ended a couple of months ago. Still strong support for higher prices for non-MC copies.

Should be interesting to see what the hammer on the Clink 5.0 is. My guess is still 40-45k. Then let's see what the Heritage 6.0 goes for in a couple of days. It's sitting firmly at 43k right about now. I'm guessing 50-55k. I'm thinking this my be a bit of a leveling point from the insanity we saw in the CC auctions in March.

And THAT is where I believe the proof is in the pudding. <250 blues in 6.0 and above. Of course, collectors/comic junkies/Spiderman lovers/speculators/etc. will pay what their wallets will allow. That is not a very large number of "investment grade" copies when you take it all into perspective.

I'm going with 92k for the final hammer price on this one. Just a hunch.
