Gotta admit, the CGI in this one looks to be on point! The Rise and Dawn weren't that great in that area. I've always been much more of a practical effects fan, especially growing up with Planet of the Apes from the original movies and TV show. The new trailer has me pretty pumped for it!

I betcha all can't wait for that epic Power Man and Iron Fist series to come out next!

I really wasn't expecting a whole lot going into the movie. I mean, I'm a big fan of Kong and Godzilla and just know the flops the past few movies of both characters have been. Girlfriend bought us a pair of tickets in advanced and was pretty jazzed to go, so I was all about it. I'm glad it wasn't a rehash of previous Kong movies. Had a decent storyline and was cool to see it set up in the Vietnam era. Had a pretty awesome soundtrack too! All in all, I give it a 7.0 out of 10.

The 6.0 Sparkle City book has crossed the 40k mark. However, anyone notice it's being bid on by a bidder with only 1 feedback rating?

Looking at the CC auction there is also a 5.0 copy that doesn't have the same eye appeal as the 4.5. To me the 4.5 "looks" like a much better book. The 5.0 is currently sitting at 29k. So, to think that someone "feels" like the 4.5 copy isn't as good, or better, might not be such a stretch. But, to think 5.0 copies are now in the 30k realm is truly baffling to me. Makes me love my 6.0 copy all the more!

That book looks to be at least a 7.0 to me.

I guess my lowly 6.0 is a starting point for a tooth ache that will lead to dentures.

Just curious, but are these new CGC encased high grade AF15s completely "New" graded or re-holdered? Seems like they are coming out of the woodwork these days. I'm sure those "in the know" will know the scoop.

Beautiful looking trio of AF15s there Buzzetta. I too was in the market for 5.0-6.0s back when. Might I be looking to upgrade to a 7.0 some day?

Man, that 9.2 on Clink was a stunner! I wonder if anyone has data as to the potential value of other blue label CGC graded books, 5.0 through 9.0 after this mega sale? Like a breakdown range of what they "could" be worth if brought to market.

I'm pretty sure GAtor can take a decent stab at the price ranges in each grade there peewee22.

AF15's are only going up in value (And most likely that trend will never stop...in my opinion key comic books will enter the world of art at auction in the long run...and some ugly paintings sell for over 100$ million dollars). Buy one while you can. And if you can't afford one anymore buy a Hulk #1 can't go wrong with that issue either. As you probbaly already know Spider-Man will be in the up coming Captain America Movie and then will join the Avengers. This will make AF15 even more in demand if that is even possible. The hard thing with buying a nice looking AF15 in a certain grade most are now in ''permanent'' collections. So if you find a nice looking one (minor front cover chipping and creases) buy it. I know there is a member her G.A.tor I believe has multiple copies graded by CGC he might sell you one. He helped me upgrade my 5.0 copy to a 6.0 a couple years ago. He's always got a line on the holiest of holy grails!
