  1. Slightly off track... My family and I would like to thank my former Walking Dead Club family who contributed a beautiful patriotic flower arrangement for my father's funeral, who just passed away at age 66 from COPD. It was a welcome surprise and my father would have loved it and you guys too. I wanted to post here, since a lot of members haven't made their way to Chris's new forum yet(Aaron, I guess they are looking for you). Thank you for your time and remember to hug your fathers(or mothers), because time can be so short with them.
  2. Is that the Legacy Ghost Key(hollowed-out eyes) making a 1st appearance on the cover of Locke & Key: Keys To The Kingdom #6? If so, it must be a must-have for collectors!
  3. The wonders of fast track, Mike. I still have a grouping of rare L&K books, sitting in verified in Sarasota too. Congrats Brian on those grades(especially the Signed Edition). I'm gonna fast track my raw 9.4/9.6 Creepshow #1(1st Joe Hill on cover?) next to save on stress.
  4. I love those things. I see those being more desired than #1's down the road.
  5. Thanks Cheryl! Congrats Isreal on your new addition to the Skeleton Crew!
  6. I thought it was a case of "abracadabra", meaning POOF! and all the #1 CGC 9.8's were hoarded away in one collection. William Can't wait to start my 9.9 run when my title ends in 14 issues.
  7. Locke & Key Fun Fact #3,871(do not read if you haven't read the Keys To The Kingdom arc yet)
  8. Jason! Welcome! Can't wait for Shadow key either... still not up yet at Skeleton Crew. Welcome! A most impressive Registry Set you are building.
  9. Guess I'm going to have to break down and start reading KTTK soon. My interest is peaked. Yeah, I loved Tyler's subtle Homer Simpson-esque detective work throughout. I must admit this issue really gave me the creeps too. It was a definite most welcome shift in tone from the previous light-hearted adventures.
  10. I have one copy of A Caliber Presents #1 I'd love for him to sign. Thanks for the heads up. A 9.8 copy? Actually, a PGX 9.8(which is about equal to a Caliber Presents #1 CGC 6.5, a couple slices of Wunderbar German bologna and a Devi Lovato CD).
  11. He has to be. I'm thinking about getting two. An extra one for my autographed G-Rod Crown of Shadows poster frame. Let me know when they go up for sale.
  12. Shoot, just come here to see what I do next: http://slackjaw.maxforum.org/ Thongs... Almost joined 10 seconds ago, but I have alot on my mind this weekend. I want to start off running with "ideas" I had for the WDC. I was gradually coming back around there too. It was my Saturday Night Live for chatboards, as I was a "Not Ready For CGC Board Posting Player" at one time. I recommend others on here to join up too. We have some good times here and there. I met alot of "new" people at the original blog with similar interests in Moderns and movies.
  13. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings Mike Just an initial impression; you can tell I watch SpongeBob way too much.It is better than I could have done. iCarly myself.
  14. You might need more cabbage to buy one in a couple months. I still can't believe how this title is picking up steam on eBay. If true I will just go back to playing the waiting game and IDW: 10 Year Anniversary issues. what are these ? The full creative team of Hill/Rodriguez/Fotos worked on this story. That's Bode on the cover with a key. Not collected in any hardcover yet. This story is still relatively unknown still.
  15. You might need more cabbage to buy one in a couple months. I still can't believe how this title is picking up steam on eBay. If true I will just go back to playing the waiting game More like the 'crying game' if you can't get one on the cheap. I know all there is to know - about the Locke & Key game I've had my share of the Locke & Key game First there are Gem Mints - than there are signs and then before you know where you are - you´re saying #1 Registry Set goodbye One day soon I´m gonna tell the moon about the Locke & Key game and if he knows maybe he´ll explain -why there are no Mints anymore - why there are 9.8 tears Say what to do - to stop feeling blue - when SS 9.8's dissapear... #1's are going to sky-rocket. Those and IDW: 10 Year Anniversary issues.

  17. The government does take a bite. But, awesome Locke & Key goodies(SS 9.8 #1 and rare 9.8 2nd prints) amongst others. If you buy your books from Cheryl, you will get your books & slabs in safe condition too, as she is the "Queen of Packing Tape".
  18. some of what ? Creepshow #1 - Jerel just purchased one. Yeah synch, I consider it Joe Hill's first appearance in comics, because of the little boy on the cover reading a floppy with an evil look of eventual creative genius on his face and the fact he was the little boy with comics in the movie the adaptation is based on and there is all kinds of posters of Joe's favorite movies on the wall(Dawn of the Dead-filmed in the same city where Locke & Key is being shot and other Stephen King vehicles). Ironically, the kid has his face with a little mix of the King too. It's a must have for Joe fan's and hard to find in NM or better condition. I was praying would be able to get this one on the cheap considering the BIN prices set on them.
