  1. Anyone have a direct link to it. I'm surfing on dial-up after all.
  2. I'll wait for eBay from the respected sellers I use on there with accurate grades, myself. No really. Respected. prepare to be snipped Is that like vasectomy snipped or auction sniped? I went with a bad circumcision joke, myself.
  3. That's why I had to specify my demand. But I shall point & laugh at this one Yeah too far. but, I did get add some books to my Registry Set today. Gemma Rules!
  4. NOT RIGHT NOW.... Jerel made me change it. Taking offers! Hah ... so you're selling it (next time i'll look at the sellers name first .. ) . Nice. $2500 is lot of bones... that's like ... 5 cases of my 2008 vintage. Wanna trade? ... not champagne though, just very high quality red. It's okay Matt.. It IS a lot - right now it seems like alot - but I can see it going for that later this year... easy. You can tell that I really don't wanna part with it - testing the waters. Getting people used to seeing the crazy high prices for these. I didn't think my 9.8 would sell for $425 when it did either. You just never know who's looking and what they are willing to pay. Fair enough and totally makes sense. I'm sure someone will pick it up! Heck i'd do it, but i've got some other... wants ... right now - just waiting for the right price. Still ... a real beauty. Actually, I hope they don't! I once owned this book. It's a real beauty. Who ever gets it will be in love at first sight. Jon, you there? Can you agree?

  6. You are a mad genius , but no... Spider-Man Unlimited #8? Grave Tales #6? I have a CGC 9.6 Spider-man Unlimited and a *maybe* raw 9.8 copy. I'll add the Grave Tales to my list too since I know high grade copies are hard to come by. I won't even mention the super rare article Joe provided for Criminal #4 then. Whoops! It's flimsy construction and black covers makes it too hard to find in 9.8 anyway. A nice one to be in the hunt for though. I'm drawing a line in the sand and articles aren't making the cut for the CGC collection. I may pick up a raw copy of that issue though... But, it's a good article.

  9. It's a good bet to be an hour long show. I think it's standard for network shows to get 12 episodes right out of the gate with the option for more if the show proves successful. Most established shows get 18-22 episodes a year. Still only a pilot for now. Fox has to make a decision by May to increase the order. If we are lucky will get 12 more hour long episodes(the clock is ticking for the Fall season). If we are unlucky, they will still be unsure and decide to air it first against Wipe-Out and it flops.
  10. I see a great potential for padding secondary character storylines(Jackie Veda's wealthy Native American family to Coach Ellie Whedon's middle-class broken household) to further solidify the main ones. Brinker Martin, this might be your big break! Don't screw up.
  11. Looks like it's gonna be a faithful adaptation. No underground nuclear bases.
  12. Based on recent eBay sales only (I don't have access to GPA), I would have to say a Locke & Key #1 first print SS would be top dog (selling for $425 recently in 9.8). NOW put a Lovecraft GRADED 9.8 special edition variant up for sale, and that statement may be bumped to #2. To reiterate: 1. L&K #1 first print SS 2. Lovecraft special edition variant 3. L&K #1 signed edition and I really don't have an opinion of #4 and #5. I agree with Cheryl on #4 & #5 too. Unless you mean the SS CGC 10 of the Signed Head Games Variant(which is a different animal altogether=how many more Signed Editions in SS are there gonna be with the new rules?). I would say(based on gut)... 1. L&K #1 Signed Edition in Qualified 9.8 2. L&K Lovecraft Special Edition in Universal 9.8 3. L&K #1 first print in Universal 9.8 4. IDW: First 10 Years Sampler(unknown Locke kids appearance) in 9.8-Unproven though 5. Doctor Who Classics #2 Variant(first preview-the only one that matters, IMHO) in 9.8-Unproven though Honorable mentions in High Grade only 6. L&K: Head Games Signed Edition in SS CGC 10(there are plenty out there-I got two) 7. L&K: Head Games #4 Variant in Universal 9.9 8. L&K #4(classic Modern cover) in Universal CGC 10(plenty out there- I got two) I don't include my fairly limited in numbers CGC 10's because they really aren't up for sale much. I shutter to think what I would get for my one of a kind Manufacturing Error copy of COS #5. People go gaga over TWD Error books.
  13. I want to remind people here, this was a largely ignored book. Treated as a TPB, not bagged and boarded or even gotten by many retailers. You cannot possibly, compare this to the Image Holiday Special 2005, which had about a 5,000 book print run. The Special Edition Variant of Locke & Key had a paltry run of 100-150 at the most. So once they are gone, good luck finding another in 9.8. My
  14. As reported by Cheryllynn earlier... Shia Labeouf is set to star as Iggy Parrish(the guy who wakes up one morning as the Devil and uses that power to solve his girlfriend's murder) in Horns. Think Hellboy meets The Crow. http://www.dreadcentral.com/news/43210/joe-hill-sticks-horns-shia-labeouf Could Iggy's first comic appearance in Locke & Key: Crown of Shadows #3's preview of Horns become a spinoff key down the road? Who knows? But, you won't find it a trade. Make sure you find the variant and blue and the grey tinted regular covers too. The grey came out first in limited quanties because of a delivery accident and the blue ones came out a couple weeks later to fill out the remaining orders. All first prints too. The grey tinted symbiote-like background which had a print of 3,690 copies got out to certain regions first February 2010 comic sales ...and the the blue tinted symbiote-like background that came out two weeks later had 3,859 copies printed. March 2010 comic sales
  15. A widely used stock image. Was originally seen in the back of COS #3 promoting issue #4. The closest you will get to a Shadow Key cover will be the Jetpack Comics COS #1 cover.
  16. Looking good! Not sure about bode though but I'm sure he will be alright . who are the two girls playing ? Bode is definitely sporting the Danny Torrence look. Creepy nonetheless. I think Kinsey(Sarah Bolger) is 'playing' up the Tom Baker Dr. Who look, instead of the 'Rasta' look.
  17. No way this sells for less than $100. Right? I would be amazed if it did. Cheryl is a strict grader, so this book would have had to be perfect if this hooked a ride with her Alpha Flights to Sarasota.
