  1. Other than the #4 Head Games variant, Special Edition #1 variant, Jetpack variants and the Crown of Shadows #6 one, there really is no other eye-popping ones out of the remaining nineteen. IDW can be lazy like this with their other titles too.
  2. I actually like it better than the "$175 Key", whoops, I mean original "Ghost Key. I'm curious about the sanctuary symbol under the skull on the "Ghost Key". Does it mean this is a safe place to go to in death, when you use this key?
  3. Okay Mister #1... like you should be jealous of MY DTs. I've sold you all the universal labels I could Actually I thought you would comment on the Bastian sketch since you are now becoming Mr. CPG too Loving the sig line as well, never really gotten into DT's (although I am sure it is great) but I love the L&K, Alpha Flight and CPG all great books. It's a great prequel series, Gary. I was just turned off with all the expensive alternate & sketch variants at first after trying to collect Grim Fairy Tales graded. I wanted to collect a series without them. So, it was TWD or L&K. Ironically, Locke & Key degenerated in the typical IDW variant craze(24 so far...) and The Walking Dead is putting out a little too many recently too.
  4. You know it Kyle. That is a given. Thanks for the kind words friend! That's what is great about this hobby, with close relationships to other collectors. Friends first.
  5. AND Mr. Kyle grabs it! He continues to build his primo CPG collection!! ...and I want thank him for not collecting the son of the King. That would have been a lot of competition.
  6. Has TWD gone all Family Feud now? Is that the first wrong survey question? "Name the most popular blunt instrument to do away with your zombified spouse?" "A graded TWD trade" "He says, a graded TWD slab trade. Survey says!" X
  7. They can't. With the new rule of witnesses. IDW will send Joe the Signed Editions to where he lives when they come off the printer and make it their distribution center in California and he'll slowly sign them and send back from NH. CGC will be going "green" on these as in Green Label Of Death.
  8. I put in a bid with a plan to snipe but fell asleep. There should be a couple more.
  9. Everywhere I read said "live-action". Ok. Good From what I've read so far this has more possibilities then WD. Not to start a turf war with TWD folks. But, I agree. After watching the two final episodes of TWD(#1 and #4 were classics), it left a disappointment taste in my mouth of the way the series might be heading. I always felt Joe's property has more commercial legs for the mainstream anyway. OK... Let's Dance!
  10. I have been really happy with the casting so far. I have been a fan of Miranda Otto since she stuck out in Human Nature, Nick Stahl in The Man Without a Face(T3 ) and Sarah Bolger has really grown on me. I think she will be able to pull off being Kinsey. The writers and producers are all top notch and Mark Romanek was a great choice for this material to keep it dark. I remember how creepy "One Hour Photo" felt the first time watching it.
  11. It might be too early in the game to sell any L&K books other than #1 first prints right now. Mainstream awareness hasn't been made yet of this property, other than the members of this board. So it would be a risky endeavor to sell high grade issues to different arcs. The public might not want to build a Registry Set, until they see production photos. This will be a highly commercial product once it steams ahead and what's wonderful is is people can still get in on the ground floor collecting this title with deals like last night. That's 75 points to your set for under $50. I remember I was bent out of shape when I bought my CGC 10 of the #4 variant for $125 last year and there was five more released a week later in CGC 10. But, once I saw it had a printing error(ghosting) on it, it made it a better feeling, I can tell you. The printing error one The normal one
  12. Detective Mutuku. Re-read page #5 of Locke & Key: Head Games #2 for an obvious scene. He is also trained in fencing, which might be useful against Dodge's skills.
  13. Plus the fact that he grow at any second ! & no longer fit the bill... if this show is to go past one or more seasons I bet it will happen & they will need to replace em Unless, they get lucky, like the producers of Roseanne did with Michael Fishman.
  14. Casting Bode has got to be a nightmare job for casting directors. The little six year old boy has got to have a lot talent for the role. Don't know what's going on with the Tyler role. They must be going after someone big or highly respected.
  15. Ummm.... Nick Stahl has been cast as Duncan Locke! but... The show won't be ready for the summer.
  16. Crown of Shadows Jeff you won't be dissapointed You though Head Games #6 ended strong, wait until you read Crown of Shadows #6.
  17. I am not aware - if anyone can answer that - it would be Mr. Jerel. If anyone wants a Head Key - they are still showing as available on the IDW website! 5 - Clockworks 6 - Omega thanks! Clockworks starts in June. The newest issue, Locke & Key: Keys To The Kingdom #4 comes out on January 26th.
  18. Loved the Criminal Joe Hill story, Thanks Jerel (thumbs u
  19. Jerel will tell me if I am wrong but, Locke & Key #1: Welcome to Lovecraft arc, is the first proper appearance. There are glimpses of the world etc in Joe hills other books, prior to this, i.e Spider-man Unlimited and Grave Tales #6. Gary is correct, IMHO. (thumbs u
  20. I have only one now. I remember, EvilAsh and you got one. Heff got one too. Not sure where the 9.8 went though. I remember you got the newest 9.9(not in the photo), I plucked from the shelf at Jetpack Comics too. This was a great conditioned book. Many, many left there too. thanks again Jerel! (thumbs u
