  1. I have only one now. I remember, EvilAsh and you got one. Heff got one too. Not sure where the 9.8 went though. I remember you got the newest 9.9(not in the photo), I plucked from the shelf at Jetpack Comics too. This was a great conditioned book. Many, many left there too.
  2. Jetpack Comics Crown of Shadows Variant Did you know... The back of the comic is in reverse, because of the "mirror scene" with Dodge.
  3. Yup, the flimsy black cover reminded me of this series's books. A pic of the impossible back cover too.
  4. Just a little Joe had an article in Criminal: Sinners #4, that is a fun read too. If you haven't caught it, pick one up, tomorrow on new comic day. It's a great little read from when he was a teen Charles Bronson fan. (thumbs u
  5. This book is all sorts of awesome AND IT HAS SEVERAL SIBLINGS... Indeed What a beautiful set of triplets! BUT I just noticed I have a picture of yours Annaka... oops... the one on my set has "Enjoy" instead of "Best" aha! This is mine: Great books! AnyMOAR!
  6. Outbid already I may have to think of a better strategy - good luck Cheryl Gary, you might want to snipe it.
  7. Good catch! I totally missed it. T. Gilliam(Terry Gilliam of 12 Monkeys) D. Adams(Douglas Adams author) T. Wilson(the photographer?) G. Lee(for Joe's possible favorite TV show Glee, ) D. Brown(more photography?) K. Smith(Kevin Smith) G. Jones(Grace Jones. ) V. Chong(Vincent Chong) Among a few I can think of.
  8. Bah! Custom titles are so 2010. I better be careful though, that might be my custom title.
  9. That's nuckin' futs! Because... There is 27 Universal 9.9 #1's out there.
  10. This book is all sorts of awesome AND IT HAS SEVERAL SIBLINGS...
  11. Luckily, it's only a pilot at the time being and not a full fledged series as The Walking Dead was declared last year. It might mean a great jumping on point for folks to start collecting graded L&K books, before it might get picked up. Myself, after hearing the budget and talent involved, I'm pretty sure Fox will pick it up after it is made. It's bittersweet victory as this title gets more attention through the TV series to us collectors on here who have nurtured this thread to get the word out how this book rocks and more people should be reading it.
  12. To me it's just another variant to collect. When CGC graded the Signed Edition of Head Games #1 a SS book that was awesome beyond words to be able to own an official signed book in a Sig Series holder. It was like the CGC variant of the book. But, my collecting OCD makes me want to get a Universal Signed Edition too, with his name inside as that was the official Signed Edition book. The Green... The other Green... ...and the AWESOME!
  13. Never get it's own slot. That would open a large registry can of worms. Nice snag Jerel! One last side note. It sat unbagged and boarded on the shelf for 7 months at Jetpack Comics and still got a 9.8. I can tell you one thing. I check the embossed areas a lot now. I got the only other COS #5(it was normal) there that day for UK Gary's budding L&K collection.
  14. It made two appearances in L&K #2 and L&K #4 in Bode's nightmares. A possible clue to where it is, since the father was always around in them and we know what he had in him that could open it.
  15. Mind you, this isn't the first Manufacturing Error variant from Locke & Key. The 2009 SDCC Head Games #4 slipcase variant had "ghowsting" on the bottom of it. But, my condrum is I have it in Gem Mint(and the normal one) and CGC won't give a Gem Mint a Qualified label. I pondered getting one in 9.8 a while back to put in a GLOD holder, but once you got a 1 in 100 Gem Mint all else pales.
  16. ...and I would have tore the universe another black hole too.
  17. Never get it's own slot. That would open a large registry can of worms. Nice snag Jerel! Thanks Jeff. I was glad it got glod myself. It would have been too tempting to add it, if it got a Universal Error Edition(sometimes they get 120 points ). It would have left voids in some sets and I didn't think that would be fair with a one of a kind book myself.
  18. Thank you. (thumbs u An IDW "Error Book" is rare all by itself. I guess this one can go in Matt's "Rare Modern Book Thread" too.
