  1. Glad it arrived safely As I live and breathe, I never thought, I would ever see a creaseless DF #1. It has always annoyed me. Thank you so much. For everyone going . Most(if not all) DF #1's has a printing error of a subscription-like crease going the middle. Cheryl found a couple that didn't do this. Great job Cheryl!
  2. I'm not 100% sure, but I think it was some original fancy pantsy packaging from ordering from the site. The only unknown variants I know of is the original volume's #4 thinner and slightly different SDCC Slipcase Edition, A creaseless #1 DF variant(Cheryl ), the Head Games printing error #4 SDCC slipcase variant and the blue tinted Crown of Shadows regular reprinting to fill orders of the original lost shipment. I heard there was a DF foil variant of Head Games #1, but it never surfaced. I lie awake at night on my bed watching my fan like Martin Sheen in Apocalypse Now, waiting for one to appear.
  3. Nope, not sure at all.... link to auction page with pics of the comics? Jerel?? Pics? I have an idea, but pics help.
  4. That #1 ended at $107+. Prices are going up. for me that is not a good thing You should have bought my #1 when it was "cheap" Yup, prices are going up.
  5. Head Games is the biggest stumbling block. It raises a lot questions that weren't immediately answered. Most of the readers jumped off by issue #3.
  6. This is NOT my favorite cover, too commercialized looking... but of course I'll get it! I felt it was kind of comic-booky myself. It would have helped if it was an "actual" Giant Issue too.
  7. Congrats! I'm the same way. It's the harder to get books like the Special Edition Variant or the IDW: First 10 Years, I'm a little more understanding to get in 9.8 or better. I always feel there is a chance a regular IDW one will show up in a 10 too.
  8. That one might have been to difficult to know. It's from the IDW Sampler Book. You can see Bode on the cover with a key. ooo me want! It's a book to have. But, having a collector friend like Cheryl is even better. She gave it to me after many failed attempts of trying to secure my own in 9.8. It's a tough book condition-wise.
  9. Locke & Key: Keys To The Kingdom #5 "Detectives," Part 1. Illusions will be smashed and good people will be destroyed in a shattering two-part story that changes everything. Tyler Locke begins, finally, to consider what he knows about the terrifying but mysterious enemy that has harrowed the Locke family for months-only to find that all the evidence points to a single suspect: Zack Wells.
  10. Me too. I have a feeling the next arc, "Time & Tide", will be answering questions about the Drowning Cave(tide) and the discovery of the "Time Key" and a possible attempt to save their father(time). So, until then.
  11. That one might have been to difficult to know. It's from the IDW Sampler Book. You can see Bode on the cover with a key.
  12. I know I asked a hard question tonight, But here's one for some weekend thought... How do you think L&K is gonna end?
  13. I talked about Snake Eyes, Jughead, The Goon and misc. other characters making cameos, But... what L&K book did Tank Girl make her appearance in?
  14. It's not a trade paperback. It is a ruggedly built Special Edition, typical of the "old" IDW. Man oh man. You are seriously scaring me now. This is a trade in a slab. See the difference.
  15. This one I may be wrong about but wasn't there a Horns preview in Crown of Shadows #3. i'm sure it can't be that easy Locke & Key Crown of Shadows Issue 3 You both are correct. (thumbs u The "New" Age of King. Should have been noted on the CGC label.
  16. His father's CREEPSHOW (I know he was in the movie, was he in the comic too?) The cover has his his face, so I'm calling it his 1st appearance. I would never have got this I would have said Spider-Man Unlimited #8 Trying to keep the questions slightly tricky.
  17. Hey mister, you talked me out of getting you one when we were talking about it on Facebook. Don't ever believe him TJ when it comes to the Crow. He'll convince you the Crow books are all Jen's, but he has a death grip on each slab. It might be no secret, as L&K winds down and already conquering the graded Supergirls(it will be a fun registry set for next year), I'm slowly building an army of raw 9.6/9.8 books for next CGC Registry Set. The Crow rules!
  18. What issue had Locke & Key's first Mature Reader warning?
  19. His father's CREEPSHOW (I know he was in the movie, was he in the comic too?) The cover has his his face, so I'm calling it his 1st appearance.
