  1. Think Harry Potter meets Scream (thumbs u

I dunno if that's the best description to get a new reader on the series :)

Here's a great source - scroll down and click on chapter 21 in the left column

I'm surprised to read some didn't enjoy Head Games as much as Welcome to Lovecraft. Head Games #6 is one of the best issues in the series.

Sorry, I lived in West Hollywood for three years, it's how we described any movie or book. It just came out, out of instinct. I'm sorry Danny, you can also click on my set for a detailed intro and issue analysis of each book :)
  2. I would want first prints, thanks.

I prefer raw copies as I want to read them.

Are you bothered which printings? I may have some dupes of the later prints.

Second, third and fourth prints are much harder to find these days. Could this mean they will become valuable?

It depends on the longevity of the title and if collectors are going to be completists.
  3. It is an exclusive Variant... no different than Graham Crackers or NewComicsDimension. or Dynamic Forces

Ahhhh, but should it be considered a "first print?" Huh? Huh? :baiting:

No, the two Locke & Key #1 DF variants came out 4-5 months after the first print Locke & Key #1. These were made with high print runs to capitalize on it's popularity and helped sink #1 first print's actual worth. I consider them third and fourth prints, that came after the actual second print :sumo:.
  4. lol

This was always my favorite thread but it's gotten REALLY entertaining these pass few days!!

On an actual Crow note, I asked about this in an old wtb thread, but does anyone own one of these? Or even seen one before?

It's from a Comic Show News 1989/90 winter preview. I know most CSN's have issue #'s but I don't know if this did or not. Any more info would be appreciated... (thumbs u

If I ever see any, I'll let you know ASAP as I cover LCS's the Northeast :wishluck:
  5. I am sure at this point a few of us will be going on his blocked list, and that is a blessing from the feeling I am getting about this seller and his book.

William, I'm sure your hand is just shaking over the mouse to click "Bid." lol

    :baiting:

My max bid of $44 and a copy of "Baby Geniuses 2" on vhs was already outbid...

    :sorry:

The only positive thing, I have seen from this seller so far is he didn't use a well placed shill to bid the book back up to $399, since the $900 bidder backed out (shrug) . He must be somewhat honest, or he could be just too busy. :roflmao:.
  6. Is Chew cooling off now? I asked my LCS if people have been asking for it and he said the excitement has died down in the last month or so.

Yes it is! Sell, sell, sell now! And sell it cheap! Just get rid of it! The plunge is happening! This is IT, folks!

:gossip:So what Chew issues do you have for sale?

Thank goodness there are people like you TJ, to warn us about this plunge!

I have 4 of these NM/M first print Chew #1's

    chew.jpg

...and these supposed "first Chew previews" in NM/M condition

Everyone knows Tony Chu first appeared in a Walking Dead #60 ad :sumo:

I'll mail these out to you as soon as possible :baiting:
