Do you hear a huge fan base after multiple printings of Bone #1 after all these years? It answers it's own question there, IMHO.
-
It depends on the longevity of the title and if collectors are going to be completists.I would want first prints, thanks.I prefer raw copies as I want to read them.
Are you bothered which printings? I may have some dupes of the later prints.Second, third and fourth prints are much harder to find these days. Could this mean they will become valuable?

The son of Jerel bows before Heff, for making a rapid fire payment after my first auction here. Enjoy your book bud, (thumbs u

No, the two Locke & Key #1 DF variants came out 4-5 months after the first print Locke & Key #1. These were made with high print runs to capitalize on it's popularity and helped sink #1 first print's actual worth. I consider them third and fourth prints, that came after the actual second print .It is an exclusive Variant... no different than Graham Crackers or NewComicsDimension. or Dynamic ForcesAhhhh, but should it be considered a "first print?" Huh? Huh?

Love me the Jetpack books, gotta get a nice Head Games one for Heff now .Another one from Jerel: -
If I ever see any, I'll let you know ASAP as I cover LCS's the NortheastThis was always my favorite thread but it's gotten REALLY entertaining these pass few days!!
On an actual Crow note, I asked about this in an old wtb thread, but does anyone own one of these? Or even seen one before?
It's from a Comic Show News 1989/90 winter preview. I know most CSN's have issue #'s but I don't know if this did or not. Any more info would be appreciated... (thumbs u

The only positive thing, I have seen from this seller so far is he didn't use a well placed shill to bid the book back up to $399, since the $900 bidder backed out . He must be somewhat honest, or he could be just too busy. .I am sure at this point a few of us will be going on his blocked list, and that is a blessing from the feeling I am getting about this seller and his book.William, I'm sure your hand is just shaking over the mouse to click "Bid."
My max bid of $44 and a copy of "Baby Geniuses 2" on vhs was already outbid...

Thank goodness there are people like you TJ, to warn us about this plunge! Is Chew cooling off now? I asked my LCS if people have been asking for it and he said the excitement has died down in the last month or so.Yes it is! Sell, sell, sell now! And sell it cheap! Just get rid of it! The plunge is happening! This is IT, folks!
So what Chew issues do you have for sale?
I have 4 of these NM/M first print Chew #1's
...and these supposed "first Chew previews" in NM/M condition
Everyone knows Tony Chu first appeared in a Walking Dead #60 ad
I'll mail these out to you as soon as possible

By the way, the seller is reading this thread as he referenced it in his email to me. Maybe we can help him with the auction.
