Yup, your right. But now, I guess I'm looking for two 9.8 worthy books for two of my friends.I believe it is a tough book to find. And it has such a cool cover, I think I know who is looking for one. I won't mention any names butTwo of my friends, I originally gave 9.8 quality versions too .

It's kinda' funny .
Yes, I gave you one of the better Grave Tales #6's, because it has the Goon in it .Lebowski?Gimme another one.
I ain't laughin', yankee.

I was hoping ShowcaseNewEngland was going to unearth some more. I know William was probably hoping too .She's a fan. She's sexyghoul. She has the #1 Crow registry set now (until you or William) decide to bump her off.Do it There only can be one, .
If anyone has that firepower right now, it is William since he has all the books (and then some), and at least one set in 9.6 or better condition.
A Crow 1 CGC 9.8 Qualified is only 108 points more than a Crow 1 CGC 9.6 Universal, so not the massive point difference we all would expect.
But give Chris another year and I bet he will uncover all the other books in 9.8 condition.
I am starting to think the others don't exist.

Just emailed it's picture to Jen. She'll probably, keel over upon opening it.I probably should not show you this one then....yeah if she's a fan it's gonna love that one.
I sent you a PM by the way.

Thanks Glen. Grave Tales #6 is a tough tough book to get. I went through two Cemetery Dance boxes of untouched books and only could find four that didn't have one spot of color breaking spinal stress. Most were dinged up too, on the tops of their spines and they practically all show spots of color rub on the white spot that says "Horror" on the cover. I'm still hunting for a 9.8 quality book for my friend. I'll let you guess who .A friend of mine owns that Grave Tales but it has been beat by so many of us reading it. You know I am in awe of your collection. -

It's supposed to be more faithful to the Original Series.I personally would sit on these books until Stephen Norrington(Blade) reboots this franchise in a couple of years. -
Careful, I was the insufficiently_thoughtful_person who paid $3,300 in 2007 for an ASM #100 CGC 9.8. I was trying to complete a 9.8 run on ASM #1-100. Bought a #97 9.8 too, before I became sane.
I'm gonna say $3,000+ if it stays up.I am gonna need a bigger boat!Any guesses what this is gonna go for?
Well, before we start comparing scars, I bet it will be a fight all the way up to $900-$1,100.
By the way, did I ever show you this one? Mary Ellen Moffat. She broke my heart.
:roflmao:You have no idea how many times I have said "Smile, you son of a person_without_enough_empathy" on the range to a target.
If it goes up to $3k and you don't get it you can have mine....
....for $2750. (new board member discount)

Uh-oh.I got my "doll-phobia" after watching Poltergeist when I was 7 in '82 myself. I'm also petrified of round face twin girls too, thanks to a viewing of The Shining when I was 5 for that one.Oh reallllly?

I eat ninjas for breakfast .Hey, there are more important things to worry about out here, like being robbed by ninjas. -
Whoops. I'm sorry, I was selling a CGC 9.9 Stuff of Legend #1 and others a while back on eBay. I mixed you up with another. I just did that with Bosco too.
I'm still really sorry about those Stuff of Legend books you wanted too!Late to the thread and didn't realize the comm issues with the seller. I placed a bid yesterday and requested some additional info including a scan of the back. I don't waste my time with a seller who doesn't answer and will retract my bid if I don't hear from them in 48 hours. When you have an active auction going for a week, you should reply to every question within 24 hours. At least I do.I'm sorry, I'm not sure what you're talking about.

I did receive a reply from eBay yesterday though.Well, thanks. I appreciate it. I hope you know I was just messing around about the "bigger boat" comment. (thumbs u The seller here is just exasperating. I feel like we are all throwing money at him saying "look at me, love me, I am worthy" and he's looking ignoring everyone....I still was watching the original auction and eBay notified me it was relisted.
