  1. Never cared for the sequels that much, the second and third follow-ups being the best, but I love watching my disc deluxe edition of the 1968 one. It's full of interesting extras like an early make-up test with Linda Harrison made up as an ape during the doll scene revelation.
  2. I didn't really care for Season 1*. I thought it was trying to hard to be as immature as the earlier films. But, some episodes had moments, but not enough to feel like it was pandering to the die-hard fans. I grew up watching these movies on vhs religiously through high school too.
  3. Cheer up. I don't get the CW. I have to wait until the day after Thanksgiving next year*, before I can start watching it. I vow never to buy another funnybook show after this year's Black Friday had each one for $10.
  4. Stop. Please. I kinda agree with him. Star Wars did have only one good movie. It was "Return of the Jedi." But, it did have three great movies (Episodes IV,V & VII,) two so-so ones and one turkey. My point exactly. The three "great ones" all told the identical story. -J. Walking Dead doesn't? Walk, kill a zombie, hide, repeat. Walk, kill a zombie, hide from the scary humans, wring hands, repeat. I was thinking about how many more violent antagonists are they going to encounter myself.

  6. Another actor who is in too many franchises and reboots already (U.N.C.L.E., Lone Ranger and even Snow White .)
  7. Austin Powers team-up. It could be exaggerated and pop-art type violence though. See The Avengers. The Mod era.
  8. #1 is enough for me. The great thing about the show was that they kept my interest in the property after the movies went stale. Too bad, they couldn't build something better from it. Never watched Raven, but I was aware of it.
  9. It can come as early as October. ...and stay as late as May. It can get pretty high at points. Tried to build my own Olaf. Found this guy instead. Couldn't resist an occasional funny. It gets pretty cold. I figure someone will find me out back someday, like The Shining. "Danny! Where are you boy!" A little early winter humour. Nature's refrigerator. You'll need it, because of how long you spend outside opening up the yard. Various images of destruction. This was an insurance lady's roof. Define irony. That's life in NH. It can be like Siberia. With a little "Northerm Exposure" mixed in.
  10. Nice to put a face with the American version of Alec Cataldi. I don't know why I never looked it up.
  11. 5 months!?! That's the melting stuff on the sides of the road. Most of my winter pics on Facebook are with a 1 1/2 to two feet of snow on the ground. It usually starts early to mid-November and ends by April (not this or last year though.) Four years ago, there was a blizzard on Halloween. I had bizarre foliage shots with two feet high snow banks. During a regular snow storm, I have to clean my yard 2-3 times. But, the cold snow never bothered me anyway.
  12. Oh and this Idina SS book is quite the steal on eBay. I bought from the seller and forum/Signature Series member before and highly recommend him. http://www.ebay.com/itm/CGC-9-8-SS-Frozen-signed-by-Idina-Menzel-Jonathan-Groff-Elsa-Kristoff-Disney-/122208584773?hash=item1c74330445:g:k-0AAOSwubRXNnqL
  13. Just a little My neck of the woods can get pretty intense when it snows. So, I really dug Frozen's chaotic atmosphere of extreme winter. Here I am snow blowing the yard during a blizzard. Everything ices over very nicely for about five months. So I usually do a Frozen themed Christmas tree. Some of the ornaments are just beautifully crafted. No reason to not have fun with other ornaments though. A little Tom Brady worship from the usually ambiguous Elsa. Found Frozen co-Director Jennifer Lee's 1992 UNH yearbook at the dump too. A great rare find! Well, have a great weekend everyone! -Jerel
  14. Yup. I enjoyed watching that show from time to time. I think I still remember the character's names (Richie, Joe...?) For being such a casual viewer. Was amazed how easily they got away with beheading people in every episode, even for 90's somewhat sanitized syndicated TV standards.
  15. Highlander 2: The Quickening ('91) was so awful, it actually becomes actually entertaining at points, like so many 80's bad movies did. Filmmakers at that time would just ignore all the rules in the first movie (see Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge.) Highlander: The Final Dimension didn't even try. Why make a "Renegade Cut?" Just embrace your mediocrity.
  16. Isn't that the 2nd printing? Which is a rare animal in high grade all by itself in this title. Well, in at least my adventures compared to the First Print. If someone offers one in 9.8, you should definitely take it!
  17. It's just been something I liked for a bit now. Technically, this book is just a reprint to the original Italian comic that came out two years before. So I wouldn't see a lot of worth anyway. Maybe a signature can help boost it's worth. Or a 9.9... But, Frozen 2 isn't going to. Plus, the microscopic print run ensures that a lot of kids don't know about it to begin with. They can't collect something they do not know even exists. If the ongoing is still cleverly written, I'll still be collecting these in a run. I have no idea why I started hoarding the 9.8 Universals?
  18. Married to Johnny Whitney Houston. This is such a coincidence. I was listening to New Edition today. But, that's my prerogative.
  19. Great set Now, how about some pics? I'll start working on it when I get my next newspaper article done. Unless something else comes up...
