  1. Absoloutly hate the idea of lowering standards. There has to be a way to detect pressing. Those books should be plods. Tape should be a Plod. Sigs, dry erase, etc. Alter the book in any way and it should be a plod.
  2. Found in the wild $3 One of the most common books, still nice to find in the wild
  3. I guess it is Bronze. For me it is Copper. The Bronze ended in my mind with the 35 cent variants.
  4. Only bought from Harley on-line. He runs a first class operation, glad he got his stuff back!
  5. These things change radically minute to minute. Boston was #1 for years. They busted one large ring and now Boston is nowhere to be seen in the list. NYC saw the murder rate drop precipitously and now they are amoung the safest cities. Prudence always offers more protection than geography.
  6. Some solid mid-grade pick-ups. Added to the pile.
  7. It is always nice when a buyer acknowledges receipt. That has pretty much been how I do things. But I know many times when I am the seller it is radio silence.
  8. USPS boxes are most economical. I personally won't use U-line for their extremist views.
  9. Was the seller dcomic ? That seller has been no PayPal forever. If you don't look very carefully you miss it. Has quite a record if you look them up on Toolhaus
  10. I hate the sellers who spam the Golden Age search with modern Drek. Unfortunatly there are more of them than there are spaces in the advanced search blocking feature.
  11. I bought my first double cover recently. These double covers in a slab are a little disconcerting. I can only look at the 9.2 cover while imagining the 9.6.
  12. agree with you there. Not many would call C-Link 'fast' on payment.
  13. Consignments are 10% on comiclink and they often get over GPA on a keys. Why would you give a dealer more with less exposure for your books?
  14. Just found this one in the wild That is the correct price $3
  15. Not the toughest book to find, but nice one to have. Have found a few in the wild.
  16. Flintstones #1 and Scooby Doo #1 are extremely difficult.
  17. Thinking of selling my collection. Seems the consensus is to not use the boards? If I consign it, the big auction houses and dealers want to cherry pick it, leaving me boxes of middling stuff I need to deal with. Selling it to a dealer for pennies on the dollar has no appeal. Much to think about.
  18. Did a little bargain bin diving yesterday and came up with this little nugget
  19. I predict the book making a big jump will always be a book I don't own.......
  20. I hope the new owner gets the fattest sharpie ever and gets a big azz signature scrawled across that copy
