  1. Very enjoyable, looking forward to Beyond the Spider-verse!
  2. As someone who buys more modern newsies than most, i have no problem admitting that there are people who are trying to generate interest in what would otherwise be worthless books by simply focusing on the fact that they are newsstand editions. If it were solely grass roots collectors driving the modern newsie market because of rarity or collectibility of the books, there would have to be a corresponding burgeoning market for early direct editions from the 70s for the same reasons. And yet, no one talks about premiums for directs from that era. And I think the reason for that is that the hype-sters don’t have access to those direct editions at friendly price points like they do for moderns. The classic hype what you have to sell.
  3. I buy post-2000 newsies of issues I would never buy a direct copy of, so $1-2 more than $0. Is that an infinite newsie premium?!?
  4. Yeah, it's low grade and there's a coupon clipped out, but I'll take it for a dollar!
  5. Picked up a couple copies of this Steranko cover Green Hornet Special! From the local junk shop for $1 each, newsstand issues to boot!
  6. Forget all the claptrap about print run, he can’t even get the basic fact right that the reboot after New 52, Rebirth, was also available as a newsstand. Is that a “banger” too? A double super banger maybe? A unicorn “sale” never to be remotely duplicated.
  7. No pulps worth buying at the local flea last week, but I found these!
  8. Bought about 15 issues just because the subscription covers were intact, here’s a few.
  9. Damnation! What great work people are doing out there. Thanks for the edification, darwination!
  10. Thanks, Charles, it was great seeing you again after so many years. Long Islanders and we can't meet up but once every six or seven years?!? Looking forward to the next one - reminds me of the local shows in the 90s!
  11. I think the window is meant to be half open and Thing is leaning out. It looks like a sash behind him, but he's straight up not leaning so the perspective is off. Plus the window next to it doesn't appear to work the same way which is weird too. Medusa's expression is priceless and look at those Liefeld feet she has going...
