  11. I pulled 5 remaining ASM books from the previous sales thread. All prices are reduced.
  12. Yes, I am aware of that too. His comic art director's 1.4 million dollars worth of his Batman collection was stolen from the storage locker recently. Something is fishy too.
  13. Have you tried MyComicShop.com? I don't think they are doing tax on their auction. Probably it goes same thing with PedigreeComics.com. Call them.
  14. I have bought many books from Canada. Never pay import tax.
  15. Drug Cartels depend on the private planes for transporting drugs. There is a plane rental in the same town. It's perfect getaway. Never know where the books are going now. Hopefully all books are recovered quickly before going into the oblivion.
  16. From Chicago to LA, I drove 36 hours plus many rests. From Boca Raton Florida to LA is 38 hours. A pretty long drive.
  17. My local sales tax is 10% that can be applied.
  18. I did that once when I noticed the address was not verified in PP account. My hunch told me to check the address via Google Map. There was a empty lot. I decided to report it to both eBay and PayPal before ship the book. The buyer's both accounts were suspended indefinitely until further notice. Eventually I checked to see if the account was active but it is no longer in use. That was three years ago. I was still paid and decided to contact PP and informed them the fund was still unclaimed in my account. They acknowledged it but the fund was never claimed so I kept it after six months. I would be a victim for the lost/stolen mail or other way. Thanks to Google Map and PayPal.
  19. I am sure we'd like to know HOW the thieves knew the owner had plenty food on the dishes inside the storage locker(s). We hope the police catches scum(s) and recovers all books quickly. Once we learn, we need to improve our securities outside the buns and here.
  20. I cook and do the dishes mostly. I would burrow your wife for a while.
  21. There is so much information here and CGC registry too that would give more windows of opportunity for thieves. The patterns can be followed easily.
  22. +1 Totally agreed. Must have a verified address in no matter what. I am sure that you don't want your book(s) into an oblivion.
