  1. I don't have a problem for ten years so far except typo errors. Only one and once, I had a batch of 25 books (that was long before the new design of a reholder) and there were three cracked cases so they were replaced immediately. No issue with CGC. *Still knocking the wood*. I decided to not use the batch of 25 books that was my last time. From now on, I have kept shipping 10 books or less and also gave up on UPS five years ago because of two packages were severely damaged but all books survived the ordeal included IH 181 (ironically, I currently work for UPS for 11 years and have seen worse). FedEx never have a problem for me and sometimes I use USPS for the registered mails only (high values of the books). Hmm, how did you guys fare with the batch of 25 books and other batch of 10 books or less since the new reholders?
  2. Hey everyone, There is no hidden defect on this book. As you can see the staple tears at the bottom staple on the front cover, the cover is still attached. You can see all other defects. Go ahead to grade my book. Thanks! Front Cover Back Cover
  3. Matthew Murdock can help you with that book.
  4. I may be confused by their promotional being expired. I re-read their article: https://www.cgccomics.com/news/article/6924/ Thanks for clarification. See what happens within a year unless they change. I still like their current price.
  5. I missed Stan Lee created many characters along with other writers/artists. Most characters are often re-used that is where I got lost in some directions - I stopped buying them. I used to spend on my one or two dollars on 20 and 25 cent comic books in 1970's and still enjoyed them even today. Nowadays, those Modern books are pretty expensive and I sometimes spent on my $20 on just few books you name. Some artworks are terrible and not catchy as if it keeps cycling (repeating or over and over - some stories are very similar to others too) like Japanese animation art (not much changing in last 30+ years). Just few of them have great story lines that I intended to keep them. It's hard to sell Modern Age comic books than SA/BA/GA books. The cover price is $3.50 or more but you may sell them less than the cover price today. I gambled on Thief of Thieves books but I lost my money so I stick with them until I get lucky. Simply, there are too many Modern Age comic books out there.
  6. Shockingly, a completed Marvel Value Stamp book is non-gradable but the blank Marvel Value Stamp book will be graded. I have seen them. Unusual way to grade them.
  7. Yesterday (1/31/19) was the last day for 50% off for CrossOver submisson. CGC will accept any submissions with postmarked on 1/31/19 at 50% off. My five books were sent.
  8. I think the same thing. But the glossary doesn't match the terminology for pressing defects here.
  9. I have Lois Lane #70 with photocopy of a full page of ads that didn't affect the story. It's my best guess this book will be ended up incomplete and poor .5 without that photocopy. The book looks VG/FN to me. It may get the qualified label.

  11. I have heard that word from my union - it has to do with the election between a canvasser (gather information from the voters included me) and campaign (voting booth and advertising). It's weird to use that word to describe the pressing defect.
  12. CCS takes it forever. Others are much faster. MCS always graded either 2.0/2.5 on the book with the detached cover or centerfold. I intended one point above MCS grading so your book should be 3.0/3.5 at best. Nice book IMHO.

  21. I tried to sell my books in Cooper/Modern thread. It's always dead for me. G/S/B thread is my strong selling point. How can we turn Cooper/Modern other strong selling point like G/S/B thread? I sometimes use the link(s) in G/S/B thread so they could see my books in Cooper/Modern thread. It worked well.
