  1. I saw few Subby #1 at my LCS. They are still sitting there. Most of them are in VG condition.
  2. Stigmatization of OCD perfectionist right now......
  3. Hi Ned, it's rather hard to see the defects but your description is helpful. I think it's around 7.0/7.5. Maybe too low.
  4. Hi Bob, you are a truly "Buy the Book Not Label" philosopher. One time, I sold X-Men #100 CGC 9.8 White Pages then few days later, the book was returned because it has a small indentation. I said it to myself, "Really he is serious?" It's obvious that he prefers the book not label like you. Ned asked the person about two FFs on the shelf. Both books sat for long time so Ned decided to buy them. From what I believe is that everyone decided to pass them due to the condition. Maybe the seller gave them grades and prices so they might disagree with the seller's grade and price. Ned has a gut to take them and is lucky to get those grades. I know one comic book store in Chicago and 9 out of 10 books were badly overgraded and grossly overpriced. I rarely bought some books from that store.
  5. Who can draw those faces with great expressions? Matt Baker is only and one that he drew!

  9. Unfortunately, Bert has terrible shark teeth in my dream few times.
  10. I can blame my kids for missing out anything. Now my kids are older. I am starting to see fun things now.
  11. I tried and try to overcome it again. Your avatar still spins my mind.
  12. Sounded fun to me. Next year I will check it out here.
  13. Can't complain. Even though, it is a great finding with a great deal! I found Gold Key Jonny Quest #1 VG. The antique dealer looked on while I flipped pages. It has $125 asked price so I explained the grading to him. He seemed uninterested so I offered him $50. He reached for my hand. We shook the deal. I took it out of the shop but you got a best deal! Pretty rare.
  14. You are not alone. I tried it once but I decided to buy the pressing machine. I love it ever since.
