I have two copies of Star Spangled War Storeis #141. I am torn between them. Maybe both may be deadlocked at the same grade. Let you grade on both copies. I will know which one is better. My scanner made this book looks dirty. Your invaluable inputs are greatly beneficial for my book. Both are unpressed. Please grade both. Thanks! Good morning Bird, Nice copy you have here. I suspected this copy has some foxing/oxidation on the back cover especially the staples that affected the grade. I will call it strong VG+ 4.5 - maybe VG/FN 5.0. Nice book for the age!

I have OAAW #151 CGC 8.0 White Pages. It has two tiny color break creases on the right edge. Four stress marks broke the color on the spine. One slight round top spine corner. One tiny staple tear. I do see two tiny foxing spot on the spine. I don't think this book was pressed. It looks better than 8.0. I have a raw copy which is much better than the graded copy. The spine is near flawless. Very clean except for age. My scanner made this book looks dirty. You can see light spot on the black background at the top edge just above DC logo and "A" in the title. That is manufacturing. Your invaluable inputs are greatly beneficial for my book. Unpressed copy. Please grade this copy. Thanks! Front Cover Back Cover

I have Batman #238 CGC 9.0 White Pages. The back cover has two thin ink smear lines and white spotty line along the spine until it ends at Colossal Boy's shirt on the black background. It has very tiny tear at the bottom spine that also has a slight impact. It has 100 pages and is common to have a tear at either spine corner. Only 15 higher than my CGC copy. The cover looks dirty. It is my scanner. Please grade this raw copy. Thanks for your invaluable inputs. Front Cover Back Cover

Just Inherited Some Comics from 1940's
JollyComics replied to NomadCow13's topic in Newbie Comic Collecting Questions
Pep Comics #22 is not very often on the market. That copy is attractive and came from the original owner and was untouched for over 70 years. I have a hunch that copy will be sold at $100K. -
I was 12 years old and remembered most of them when I read them but X-Men #97 has MVS that I don't recall.

No MVS in X-Men books. - Marvel Value Stamp Checklist Where do you live? It depends on your location and the weather. Out there, Winter Storm Diego affected many areas eastbound. I will grab the collection at all costs.
