  1. Repeat buyer. It's always great to deal with him. Chaps Andy!
  2. Both. Called and went to the comic book stores in 25 mile radius - all of them were sold out even other comic book store owners called other owners to see if they have any copies left. I found both regular and variant copies in other comic book store that took me 40 minutes of driving.
  3. What's going on with this title? Most raw copies were sold than CGC copies - (8 were sold on eBay since July after the announcement). 27 graded regular and 35 variant covers on Census. I am thinking about sending four copies to CGC (I happened to have two regulars and two variants that were recently pulled from my boxes).
  4. You also check all pages if there is any missing pieces/wraps, cutouts, tears or remarks. You need to check the centerfold if it is attached to both staples. I recommended you to check with www.comics.org by entering with the title and issue number. The website will tell you how many pages in that book so you will have to count pages or wraps.
  5. Heritage just announced that other states are added to apply the sale tax: Alabama, Indiana, Maryland, Minnesota, North Carolina, South Carolina, Wisconsin, Wyoming effective on October 1st. I live in Illinois and I am currently using PO Box in Wisconsin to save the money from tax but it sucks. I will keep PO Box to pay only 5.5% local tax to avoid 10% sale tax in my hometown.
  6. FYI, all comic books are not qualified for using Media Mail. They will open the box and inspect the contents. If they find comic books, they will reroute and return it back to you with the extra postage fee. Sometimes it goes straight to the destination but USPS may charge the receiver. Be aware of it.
  7. So, this new journals made Tnerb extinct? I am kind of missing to read Tnerb's journals and his everyday positive vibes. How do you propose to bring them included Tnerb back to exist again in the new journals (from old journals)? Scott, I know you already instructed us how to migrate old journals to the new journals and all others (luckly, I don't have one). Tnerb may lose his interesting or feel obstructed. I don't know what happening to him after the revamped chat board. How many the board members did we have in old journals before the new one? Half of them?
  8. Otherwise, he wouldn't figure it out how to open it.
  9. It doesn't seem right. The case is pretty strong. If it was dropped, it should be a minimal damage. If it was damaged during the shipping, it would have some or long cracks. But this is seemingly extremely damaged. I have a feeling that buyer tried to pry it open without the case being damaged. He failed so he asked for the refund. I never saw so much damages on that case before.
  10. I am very aware of those books with Whitman logos and I grew up with it. My mother gave me the pre-pack comics that contained Superman/Batman but sadly they are long gone. It's amazing that keithl has all of them - Whitman books. Rare Whitman Pre-pack comics are tough to be found - Pre-Pack Comics. I had 7 books of Uncle Scrooge #179 but I sold them too soon. I had too many Whitman comic books but not rare and I tried to sell them in one lot but no avail. It is very rare those books are seen on the market. I think they are keeping until the time is right.
  11. Don't risk it. It's already settled at 9.6 White pages. Today, all graders are pretty tight with the grades. You may get 9.4. I am very doubt it will come back at the same grade or 9.8. Just leave it as is.
  12. Check on this website to see if one of your books is extremely rare (of course it is obvious DC Comics Presents #22 Whitman version) - Recalled Comics You should check Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide to find the price on each books. Other resources are Ebay Sold Items (on the left panel), GPAnalysis.com and Heritage Gallery Auction (excellent history). All other books aren't in demand. Maybe you should hold them for few more years until they are in high demand. Never know. You can sell them at once if you are planning to get rid of them. It's your call.
