  1. Without Alan Moore's name that cast the spelling doom for Marvel's selling of Miracleman books. I used to love reading Marvel's runs of Battlestar Galactica, Micronauts. Howard the Duck and other TV product related comic books in 70's and 80's (some into early 90's) until Marvel abandoned them and allowed other publishers took over them . Only Conan was brought back to Marvel after 15 years with Dark Horse that lost the license to Disney owned Marvel company. I really hope that Marvel will abandon Miracleman soon.
  2. I sold all of my last miracleman books two years ago. It was a good sale. I didn't think about the current sales of Miracleman until now. I never saw the decline sales of those Miracleman books even #1, #15 and #24 and was shocked to see so many NM books selling so low on eBay. I sold $404 for #15 CGC 9.8, #145 for #1 cgc 9.8 and $85 for #24 CGC 9.6 for $85 distinctively so those books are much more than 50% less of those 2016 prices today. What happened?
  3. So far, I would find Felix the Cat in first comic book back in 1927 by McLaughlin Bros. In same year, other Felix the Cat comic book was in German language.
  4. The article explains why his signature is so unique. His unique signature.
  5. I had one book with three 1" tears on the cover. CGC graded it 4.0. You may get it 3.5/4.0 because of a thick book. GSX #1 has many problems and still gets nice grades. You should get it too, IMO.
  6. The auction company graded it 7.5. It hit right on the nose.
  7. Bummer and twisty. It's kind of looking like Krazy Kat in that early drawings.
  8. Don't forget that potential thief may have a team (at least two people). I have seen many booths have at least two workers. It depends of the size of the booth and how much vulnerable your booth is. The thieves will observe the security, surveillance system, escape routes and the booth layouts first before they execute the plans. Of course, the thieves will prepare themselves if one of them is caught. The book must be abandoned immediately. Other scenario, they may need each other as the relay team like the stolen book will pass through other thieves without being noticed or caught. I have a feeling for the dealer who was recently distracted by one of the thieves while his book was snatched without being noticed. The walls are the most vulnerable even it can be fell off easily. It has nothing to do with your eyes even in ages. It is simply too many people flocking in a long day even the security system is not always helpful. It can happen so fast before your eyes will blink.
  9. You caught him red hands. I added him on my block list.
  10. I did with Superworld Comics outside of the show after hours. Just saved money from buying the ticket and parking fees.
  11. I will keep the old label because it will cost you money if you submit it. They will change only few words.
  12. Once it is cleaned, it can't be undone and it is conserved. Once it is trimmed, it can't be undone and it is damaged.
  13. Welcome to the boards. 9.0/9.2 due to multiple stress marks on the spine on the back cover.
