  2. already have them, they don't buy. they bring their own snacks get a cute girl (but not too cute, don't want to scare them) at the cashier. It will improve your candy sales and the general hygiene of the D&D crowd... can i conduct the interviews for this position? Leaving Chi-Town?
  3. I'm looking for job, hire me! I thought you were rich. You traveled to Japan, Orlando, San Diego and etc.
  4. Yeah. 9 am to 9pm. Congrats on choosing to open a store. My kids want to open one and in just under two years we have built up to around 30 long boxes and I am going to donate all of my toys, 500+ trades/novels, gaming cards, games, Lego collection, etc. My son also has a room full of collectibles to add. We will keep adding to it each year until ready to open.I hope all works out well for you. Thanks buddy. Its pretty easy to get long boxes. Last bulk buy i had was 80 long boxes. At $7 a long box. If he wants to open a store, he sounds like he already has enough. Tell him to just do it. None of the comic/gaming places around here open until 10:00 a.m. or later. Of course, that means you're there before 10:00 a.m. Stores without gaming tables close at 7:00 p.m., +/- an hour. Some are either closed Sundays (not recommended) or have reduced hours (open at noon, close at 5:00 p.m.). So the question is, will you have gaming tables? My store hours are going to be 10-8 pm.Ill have gaming tables to start and add more gaming stuff as i go along, more tables chairs etc. My work hours are different than the store hours. Im used to 12 hour days/7 days a week/365 days a year, working with my wife. Her mother is korean and doesnt believe in anything less than a 12 hour work day. There is always work to do when you own your own business. As she would say, "if you not working 12 hours in a day, 365 days a year, you poor.". She told me that the first day i worked at my wife's store. I thought you wanted time with your son.
  5. Don't give it up. Just practice and familiarize it until you master it. I like your idea that save my time from the website to other website manually.
  6. He has a superb, incredible, unfathomed, high denial of any wrongdoings. (Buzz, from what I saw him in the video - he is huffy-puffy-stay puft babbling guy and is not in shape to punch you. You are right about his inconsistent remarks). Bah, he won't. It will be always interesting to see if he will go straight to CGC booth at NYC this fall.
  7. They downsized from 9 brick and mortar stores to one e-commerce store. No problem for them.
  8. CAK or Marky316... Just wondered what will happen if he will walk toward CGC booth at NYCC this fall? Will he walk and punch Buzzetta's face at the same show? (my apology to Buzzetta - he may off with you by deleting your posts that may upset him) Just scenarios in case. Sounded like he is still angry. Anger management for him?
  9. MCS may rule the comic book world soon.
  10. If it was you I would have given you an atomic wedgy off the Lions Gate Bridge.
  11. I see why you are naughty to boardies. I can find you here in Chicago next week. Here is your tomato.....
  12. Does this contain Sam's stories from the Joe Kubert Presents series? Those are titled "I Remember." In one of the stories Sam recounts the typhoon from December 17, 1944 that his USS Stevens encountered. One of the other destroyers in that group was named the USS Dewey. I had a dear friend who served on the Dewey and he would remember that typhoon. He and other sailors had to tie themselves to anything they could on the deck in order to survive the 90-degree rolls the Dewey had to take in the typhoon. They survived! Sam drew the Dewey in one of these stories and when I saw it I had shivers. More information
  13. Pardon my curiosity. The buyer may be CGC forum member.
  14. For DC OAAW #81-83, 91, 112, 151 and 168. There are some semi keys - check OGP G.I. Combat #44, #68, #87, #91 and #138 - some semi keys between those numbers. Star Spangled War Stories #84-#90, #138-141, #151 - some semi keys between them. Our Fighting Forces #45 and #123 - I am sure early OFF issues may be valuable. All American Men of War #67, #89 and #94 Weird War Tales #1-12 (Joe Kubert, Neal Adams #8, Tony DeZuñiga, Howard Chaykin, Alex Toth and Sheldon Mayer -- of course, the most famous writer of all war comic books is Robert Kanigher. This title is tough to find in high grade. For Marvel (Atlas), Charlton and Fawcett - not sure about other publishers Of course -- Sgt. Fury and His Howling Commandos #1 - #10 Battle, Battlefield, Battleground and Battle Cry I just started to collect them but I am still learning the new stuffs outside DC.
  15. I thought USS Stevens was strictly directed under DC. Found more information about the artist Sam Glanzman who served on real-life USS Stevens and his art career: The Collected Stories by Glanzman. Did you get it from Amazon? I found one too. Most recent print was July 2016 that is what you got?
  16. I could be wrong, but I think it helps that you're not a raging person_who_is_obnoxiously_self-impressed Really? Seriously again?
  17. You have three double cover copies so far. I think you have a lucky charm. I think I just buy a lot of books I do the same thing but zero so far. I asked myself how did you do that?
