  1. Thanks to Seanfinn. You just listed #214 on eBay. It will be delivered to my house tomorrow!
  2. Relax dudes! Back to 70's, when I was a kid. There were a lot of Silver and Bronze Age books in those garage sales and flea markets even you could find them in 25 or 50 cent bins. There were plenty of them. Fast forward to today. You don't often see them like in 70's but we have so much Modern Age books around here. We will go fast forward to 20-30 years from now. You probably won't see those Modern Age books anymore.
  3. A few folks mentioned that for a brief period of time a second action 1 in 9.0 was on the census (last year). It was removed, I'm sure at the request of the owner. Don't think it affects lower grade values one iota Maybe the owner was unhappy with the grade and wanted it to be pressed and regraded. The label was included. While the book is being graded, the certification number was removed from CGC census so the second 9.0 grade was omitted. I would suspect the current owner is hoping for the highest single graded on the census.
  4. When I was in a junior high school, The principal said, "Get off the tree!" I thought he was supposed to protect the students but the tree? That was unusual of him.
  5. You found him. You should be happy with him until he is out of the books.
  6. I will say this though, this issue is curiously absent from my collection and I may have a long box of 70s and 80s hulks, so I have to wonder if people in the know have been plucking them for years waiting for the racoon to explode. I find this hard to imagine as a lot of those Hulks I have were bought in the 80s and early/mid 90s out of 25 cent boxes when rocket was truly a fringe character, but it is what it is. It could be I just skipped it because of the stupid looking cover, but that has never stopped me before. People were buying them because it was a first comic appearance. People have always bought first appearances for speculation purposes. As a very long time Hulk collector I can tell you I *HATED* that book. How's about scoff?
  7. Derek? Derek Jeter. You must be Yankees hater.
  8. Welcome to the heavenly Board! Beware of the Board rules. Don't tempt to break the rules that will invite you in HOS.
  9. Better than killing two birds with one stone!
  10. Fantastic. It reminded me of Babylon 5. US audience was dismally low but International audience kept the show running
  11. And....I don't have anybody on my blocked list. *Knock on wood*
  12. Hmmm. I have 1973 poster of MM but my wife is the rarest of the romance comics.
  13. Anybody is interested in my OAAW #240 CGC 9.4 WP? OAAW #240 CGC 9.4 White Pages included Neal Adams Art
  14. Hey War Comic folks, Would you please grade my 6 OAAW books in "Would you share a grade? section" Once I get your estimate grades on my books, I will sell all books on this forum in about a week. Thanks for your time.
  15. Unfortunately....I wished Marvel leaves Spider-man unmolested too! Too many books are overpriced.
  16. That's a good point. I might just do the quick read and flip. The problem is, if I end up liking the series as much as I think I will, I will want to keep them. Don't forget Alan Moore and John Totleben are famous in that series too.
  17. It's five dollars to get the grader's note.
  18. Make Love Not War or Make War Not Love. Let's make love/war!
  19. What a gruesome graphic than any EC Comics I have ever seen!
  20. Yawn, why are there light highlights on the red parts if his costume? It makes it look plastic. I know most old timers don't like Ramos, but I do. I have collected ASM until #700 then SSM ever since but I haven't read after McFarlane Era. What is the fuss about Ramos? His drawing skills?
  21. Thank you for the positive feedback! I hope others will do the same thing for my kudos.
  22. Excellent buyer. Thank you for your confident purchase. Hope to deal with you again.
  23. Hmm, I got ASM #678 Mary Jane Venom, SSM #20 Black Cat, WD #33 Blue background 2nd Print and others. I intend to buy them immediately when they are hot. Some variant issues go down in value but not that often.
  24. Need to find a better video of the leaked convention trailer. Married up with Hans Zimmer's "Time" made this a better release than the actual official trailer. I don't see any Sentinels on this trailer.
