  1. Place Holder Got word from CGC today that my copy is coming back a 9.8. I will post pics when its back from FL.
  2. I was thinking this myself as I was playing through the campaign. In fact, one of the later missions was just like a mission in Dead Island. The Co-op I found is spotty at best, tons of problems connecting and errors when joining and playing through the campaign. Kind of let down but I'll give it some time, Blood Borne is not out for at least another month.
  3. Any board members getting Dying Light tomorrow?
  4. Was that the Gamecube exclusive that took place on a train? if you are talking about the RE one and yes they should it was a great prequel/ sequel to the RE games. if i remember it took place before RE 1 and during RE1 and after the ending of RE1. I really want to play Zero now. Its the only RE, besides the shooters and Outbreak that I haven't played. I have GC, but keep hoping for a remastered version of it for new gen systems. Pray that Resident Evil Survivor is not re-released. FPS and a complete piece of garbage, worst RE game I've ever played.
  5. I'll probably take the bait for $20. I just wish they could have done something about the clipping.
  6. It's great! Buy it! Now! Hurry! I want this game......but I can't bring myself to pay for the same game 4 times. I had the original (is that....BLOOD?!), the Directors Cut and the Gamecube release. I'm more excited for Dying Light than the same RE again. If anything they should release RE4 for PS4.
  7. I was emailing this guy as well, Lake Forest IL, right? That ASM 121, looks like a piece of the cover is missing LLC or is the cover torn?
  8. GSIMS reach extends to the Pacific Rim? There is no escape.
  9. I'm torn on dealing with Richie, I had an AF15 that I purchased raw at WW Chicago come back as conserved (staples replaced) from CGC. While I did get my money back, he was adamant that the book had no conservation and he has relisted it as such on his Ebay page. Secondly, he over grades a great deal. While I can't say I'd not do business with him in the future, I do have my reservations about any book he lists.
  10. Who is the established boardie? I have a PM out to him right now letting him know about the grade. Since the deal was made some time ago, I deleted the original conversation where he stated his assessment on condition, but I do recall it being definitely higher than Fine. Checking his post history, he hasn't been on for a bit, but I want to let him know privately and see what he thinks. What was the seller's estimated grade? And when you received and looked the book over did you agree with their stated grade?
  11. I did the opposite on Boxing Day. Store Owner: "Hey welcome, all those comics in those boxes are $2, or 10 for $16." I start looking through them. Some ok stuff, nothing crazy. I say, "Hey its 10 for $16 for these comics over here right?" Store Owner: "Yup, $2 per or 10 for $16, like it says on the sign." He points to the sign that fell down near the boxes I'm buy. I spend about 20 minutes, pull ten comics, bring them up to the counter. Store Owner "Oh these two X-Men 256 aren't $2, sorry, they must have been in the wrong place. They're Jim Lee, first app of Asian Psylocke" I show him the box, got them from right in front of X-Men 257, next to ALL THE OTHER JIM LEE. He pulls the whole box and tells me he's gonna have someone go through that whole box again. I'm thinking that each comic is like a $6-$8 at most, and this guy would rather lose cash in hand PLUS anger a customer? During the holidays??? The stupid thing is that he's given me better deals than that before, AFTER looking up the prices (which he for some reason didn't do this time). For some reason he made a big fuss over these 2 comics. I think he wanted to show these to his employee or something to show him that he failed or something. It should be noted that the comic book guy from Simpsons is an accurate depiction of this owner. Not sure what happened, but I won't be back there, as its not too close by. He did you a favor and didn't know it, I found 2 sales on the 'Bay for $.99 in the last week. He saved you from paying twice the market price. I despise store owners like that.
  12. Al N Anns in Mchenry Il? Yep - Loved that place, they really did themselves a disservice by marking all their books down to $1 without going through their stock and checking prices. Eh - they did not do that to all of the stock - plus they were trying to blow out everything they had. I was able to snag up a lot of the decent back stock at the 40$ a shorbox sale - snagged most of the x-titles and wolverine along with some ok new 52 stuff. When I was there digging through the last few $1 boxes they had I found a number of books that would have been $20-$30 wall books at other stores. And, I know I've said this before, but about 2 months ago just before they announced the retirement sale I was looking through short boxes of back issues, mostly Gold Key/Dell books and I came across a Hanna Barbera Scooby Doo 1 VG/VG+. This was literally 10 seconds after the guy behind the register said there wasn't anything too spectacular left to buy.

  14. Dragon Age 4, 33 hours in and still so much to do. Might be one of the few games I'll log 100+ hours in.
  15. Selling CGC keys, moderns, silver and raw Cronze http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=8250898#Post8250898
  16. I'm sort of with you on Shadow. I loved it for a couple of hours, then I lost interest. I'll probably pick up Dragon Age soon. I actually liked DA2 a lot despite what others said about the game. My only issue was the achievement that didn't pop for me- I'd have 'em all if it did. Let us know what you think. I'm 25 hours into DA3 and I have to say it is one of the most engaging RGP's I've played in a long time. I'm thinking to do everything in this game you are looking at a 110 hour commitment. Battle is fluid, controls are very responsive, character animations are top notch, voice acting can make you cringe occasionally, the story is engaging as well. Can't wait until I actually get to fight the dragons.
  17. Dragon Age Inquisition.....check it out. Awesome return to the series after the disappointing Dragon Age 2.
  18. Amazon has a black Friday deal bundling the XBONE with 4 games and a year of Xbox live for under $375. They are practically giving them away.
  19. Got a line on a Showcase 4 with a popped staple, back cover has three large tears and one huge section missing from the nutty putty ad. Front cover has 1 thumb sized section missing, water staining is evident, pages look tan to brittle. Seller wants 3.5K, probably grade out at a 1.8. To buy or not to buy?
  20. Dragon Age Inquisition, for any RPG fans out there. A lot like Skyrim, lots of fun and lots to explore/find.
  21. I have Dragon Age 3 downloading at midnight, should be set to play tomorrow when I get home from work. And I', picking up GTA V for PS4 on Wed. You might not hear from me for a few months.
  22. 9.8 copies of BA 12 doubled in price over night.
