What did it sell for - impressive if anywhere near the asking price given the problems with this book. That book has color touch at the base of the left corner, you can see it peeking out from under the cover.

Already gone according to the link Link says unsold, might make its way to Sarasota and be back on Ebay a a much higher price.

Anyone check out the Resident Evil 7 demo? Looks like a huge departure from any RE game that came before, more like Outlast/Silent Hills than the typical RE zombie shooter.

Ok, made a sale on Sat, buyer paid today and I see that it is All Things Comics. I know that name has come up on the boards before but I can't remember if it was a for an Ebayer trying to scam a boardie.

There was a guy always at our local arcade that was basically unbeatable at fighting games. There was always a line to play him at Street Fighter 2 Turbo, Mortal Kombat, Virtua Fighter, or Killer Instinct...whichever he was playing at the time. Unreal to see him smoke 30 kids in a row without losing. He could basically play with one quarter until he was ready to go home. I could do that with Virtual Fighter, stay on beating people till I was ready to leave. One day I'm out at mall of America arcade and this kid comes up and asks to play me, I said fine, kid whipped my azz three games in a row, no one had done that to me before. I admitted defeat and bought him whatever he wanted from the snack bar in honor of his beating me. He was probably 11, had on not one, not two, but three separate fanny packs (that should have been my first clue he had super human gaming abilities) and Giant coke bottle glasses. My brother who was with me at the time called him the White Webster. I've a similar experience with MK 1, I could play that game until I just got bored. I beat 18 straight players one summer afternoon using Raiden. I finally lost when another player paid me $5 to use anyone but Raiden. I'm pretty sure I was rocking a fanny pack and I know I had the coke bottle glasses.

I agree! Not long ago someone posted a Batman #2 that looked wicked and with a press appeared to be over a 9.0. Wish I knew if that was ever graded and how it turned out. Foolkiller naturally, I don't know if he ever had it graded but it looked amazing.

Detective 40? Joker on the cover but the story was used in Batman 1.

Was this a recent purhcase ? How in the heck did it slip my radar It's on my WTB list on Metro. I picked it up at C2 a couple weeks ago. Frank told me they never even listed on the website as it came in right before the show.

Yeah, I thought the damage to the cover was silverfish not scraping to get rid of color touch. Someone must have been very heavy handed with a marker because the scraping goes through the cover and the first couple interior pages.

Purchased from Brock ( Columbia Comics ) ? Bought from Metro raw, they were spot on with the grade too.

got this back as well, very disappointed that the dealer did not pick up on both the trimming, color touch on the cover and the color lift.
