the writers on this show are great-the scene with Homelander trying to beat Stan to the chair is priceless.  (he didn't realize it was a race until too late!!)

well watched the first two-and in the spirit of Star Wars---

Huh? Yes it is a funny comic, and was in my top 5 childhood favorites! But why on earth is it at $1500+?

Has demand increased in some way that small supply of a zero interest issue is now way too tiny? Or a Case of 2 registry collectors that need the book? Or situation where Black Bolt attempting to sing "Satisfaction" or What If "Conan was "Bing (Crosby) Conan" is now sought after?  Perhaps the truly masterful What If "White Tiger fought Wendigo in a blizzard?" page?  1st Marvel Hot Foot cover?

 

Disclosure: I do own a copy but I simply do not get why the sudden interest?

I already have copies of all of these -not going to risk tweaking my back bin diving unless...hmmm... maybe there is a Moon Knight movie in the works down the road?

#1-just using slave labor to grind grain-Conan became Conan as he got older so he was able to push it himself  

#2-his owner let him go as a show of respect-plus he had already made his owner rich and noone in that hemisphere wanted to get their champion killed anyway -(commentator did say that he was probably afraid that Conan would eventually kill him to get free eventually, so he let him go early)

#3-this scene was taken from Conan #92-where Conan grew up (Cimmeria, Vanaheim, etc. )-that area always reeked a Norse mythology-Conan fell into a burial tomb for a local king, (never named as anyone of note)-the story was adapted from a short story by Lin Carter and L. Sprague DeCamp. 

#4-another nod to the Conan comics-from Conan story arc in Conan #49-51-though he never did shack up with the witch in the story-but the first time I saw the movie these were the issues I immediately thought of-lots of instance across the Conan and Savage Sword runs where Conan ends up having sex with non-human looking females (almost a tree one time) (Conan #41-also hilarously referenced in the Korgoth of Barbarian cartoon.). He tends to shoot first and ask questions later.

picked up a few books  the other day, and found this in a Tomb Of Dracula #13. I've never seen this before. It's only 2 pages, inserted in between the ifc and the indicia page. Anyone else seen other issues? (It is stapled into the book like an insert.)
