The final price ended up being $787.77. It's unfortunate because it's definitely lower than the advertised 9.0 condition and it's likely restored given the seller and his history. I wish there were a way to contact the buyer. he has another #1 up for sale now. This time under his cdpaoli alias. Damn how many #1s does this guy have? So far he has sold 2 different proclaimed 9.0 #1s under 2 different aliases. Same thing this time too. I sent an email asking if there has been any restoration, with a respone of "none that he can see".

Ask for scans of this book! I hate to do this to the seller, because he seems like a really nice guy, but from the pictures emailed (as opposed to those on ebay) this book looks pretty beaten up on the back bottom edge. Just make sure you know what your buying The book is described as being in VG condition on ebay Sold for $200! Thats pretty good seeing as I've seen them go as high as $500.

WOW. thank you for that tidbit. I had my eyes on this book since it went up. I also missed out on a 8.5 slabbed book. Sold for a mere $566 (I bid 563 in the last 5 seconds hoping to win), which is fairly damn low for what prices have been lately.

I bought this comic a few weeks back. It's the Vol.1 #4 Misprint. Not only that though but this copy is a MISPRINT of the MISPRINT! Haha. Seriously! check out my auction for pics, and wish me luck! check the proper board for that! also, anyone know where I can buy a decently priced #1 1st print? don't say eBay.
