Doesn't it seem weird that Hulk 1 is bigger than TOS39 with such popularity of Iron Man? Or is it because there are just fewer copies of Hulk 1 and thus the spike?

I have an update in my club membership yet again due to Matt

 

After buying this off eBay of all places in early 09 as a 9.4...

Than staring at its NM+ curb appeal for over half a decade....

I finally decided I needed to give it to Matt for a couple days to fix a small ding in the top center of the back cover.....

I'm so very, very glad I finally did -

 

 

 

Congrats on the bump! Matt can do some amazing things.

It's coming. AF15 and hulk 1 are getting out of reach for most. TOS 39 and JIM 83 are next in line for seeing big jumps in demand and pricing.

At least that's my speculation.

I actually bought two clocks and I certainly would have been willing to wait for them from Jim.

The facts he has been on PL just makes me not want to do biz anymore at this point especially with the poor communications.

If you want to work it out with him that cool. Just PM me once it's worked out.

I got the same pm. It has been over 30 days for me. If it doesn't ship by Monday I plan on requesting a refund too.

I don't blame you. I don't doubt the guy makes nice clocks but this isn't the way to do biz.

I just wanted to protect the guy in case he did the right thing.

In the future, maybe exhaust all attempts to work things out via PM or wait the full 30 days before mentioning here? Even if you don't SAY who it is, people can speculate on your post history and like this instance, that can have negative consequences to an unrelated, innocent party.

I don't agree and I tried to work it out via PM. He barely answered my PMs until I threatened to file a claim. This is a discussion thread. I wanted advice before I did anything. Thankfully I don't have many issues with purchases or sales on this forum and this is probably the second time I've even had an issue with anyone selling me something here.

If people want to speculate that's their issue...I just wanted to get some advice before outing the person.

I got the advice and then learned this person was on the PL before. I wouldn't have known this without my original question.

Sorry to have caused any drama but that's what I thought this thread was for...discussions of possible PL worthy issues.

And if I don't get a refund in 4 days I am nominating him for the PL list.

Actually it doesn't take much research to find out the Seller in question. I would be mad if I didn't hear anything for 3 weeks. You might as well just officially out him.

 

The seller just PMd me and said he's had some family issues. He will be getting to it.

 

I'm a really understanding guy as long as someone communicates with me. We aren't talking big money here so the rush isn't there but I just need communication if there is a big delay.

 

Hoping this gets resolved with no issues.

 

I too haven't received mine Mark and I haven't heard anything in a week about it. Annoyed. I have PM'd several times as well and got the same response as you about computer problems saying it would ship the next day and as far as I know it still hasn't. I will PM him too. Frustrated.

He wrote me he is writing everyone to let them know what's up. Stinks but thankfully not a ton of money...not that it matters.

To me "computer issues" doesn't hold a lot of weight. You can still package comics and take them to the post office without a computer can't you? Why yes, you can. It's quite easy. I do it frequently.

I totally agree. I'm not happy about it and i'm actually surprised he's acting like this.

My concern is if I wait until 30 days I can't file a Paypal complaint. I'm considering doing that before the 30 day mark....

Thanks for the clips. I really enjoyed Cap 2. It was a fun ride only leaving me hungry for the next installment.

As for the Hulk movies. They both stunk up the theatre but the Norton movie was better. It went a bit overboard with Abomination and the General but overall it was good.

The transformation of Norton to the Hulk in the lab with that crazy scientist was awesome at the time.
