  1. OK, good. Then learn about comics and the industry, and do that by reading and chatting, asking questions and buying and selling.

Don't try to jump right into selling on others' behalf with no experience or knowledge, offering to charge twice as much as people with decades of experience.

You are in danger of making yourself a laughing stock with this consignment stuff, and since you appear to have good intentions and, by your own admission, a learning disability, I wouldn't like to see that happen. My strong advice to you is just to drop it entirely at this point.

Have you seen his sales thread?

  2. Post a picture of yourself as well as what are you 3 favorite foods to eat.

Oh and please inform us what you are having for lunch tomorrow this time.

    here's my picture

my three favorite foods to eat

    1. Tacos

    2. Pizza

    3. Chinese food

and for lunch tomorrow I guess a sandwich

I can't understand a thing you say in that "Disney" commercial, although I do have the sudden urge for crab and flounder :)

Ok, I can't hold it in....I really have to....I mean I just can't hold it in any longer....

Sorry, excuse me. I need to get back to work now.

  3. My best of advice for you is to stick around here and get to know people for about a year. Sell some books on the forum. Make some buys on ebay or locally and see if you can flip some books....even if you don't make a profit, you've at least built a rapport with people here.

What you are doing right now isn't going to reach your goal (if you are really serious). If this is truly a passion and you want to get into the business of comics...take your time and don't expect to make much money until you build some contacts and trust.

I can't imagine anyone sending you their prized comic (or even their garbage) so you can sell.

I don't want to add to the pile of people who will dump on you about your post.

  4. Seriously, who in their right mind would send you their comics?

You need to reconsider your career options.

right now no one but there should be someone on here willing to give me a chance and I've already considered my career options being a voice actor and during slow days I want to sell comics, coins, video games so that when I'm not making money in one area I'll make extra income in another!

Good luck. I know I am not interested in sending my comics to:

    A. Someone I don't know

    B. Someone with no history of selling comics

    C. Someone who has no knowledge of comics

    D. Someone who comes on a message board soliciting strangers to ask questions about their life so they can get people to send them comics

    E. Someone who wants 20% when I can sell my comics myself here and on ebay.

    F. Someone who isn't one of the major auction houses or reputable dealers we know

Just some reasons why I won't be doing business with you. But, best of luck

  5. True, but it just burns me that people do these things.

Of course if I nominate him then I can't relist the book for 30 days right?

It would be so nice if a simple comic sale could go smoothly.

I'll see if he answers me in the next day

  6. Here is what he wrote about that...

"If you want, you can repost the book for sale. I do not want to go on the probie list but I am trying to get this PayPal stuff straightened out as quickly as possible."

He doesn't want to go on but hasn't answered me and I'm willing to wait if he needs time...

Plus he posted in the thread that he posted take it too quickly as he thought it was a different book...but he would still take it.

I hate to have to nominate him but it looks like I might have to. hm

  7. Hi everyone,

Unfortunately I have to ask for an opinion on a recent sale I made. Buyer posts take it and then I PM them to provide the payment info.

They say the will pay the next morning.

Next morning nothing. I then get a PM saying that his paypal isn't working and that he just found out when he went to pay me. But he said, I should relist the book even though he knows he will get on the probation list.

I PM'd back saying I can wait a few days if it will help and that i'd rather not relist the book for sale again.

Since that PM was read yesterday, no response and no payment.

Should I relist the book? Nominate them to the probation list? I don't know....i've had a string of non payer on ebay and now this one here....

    Thanks for the opinions.

  8. Sounds like Kramerica. Sometimes he's selling on consignment so the books aren't in hand. Once the sales are made, he'll retrieve the books and then try to ship all at once. I've bought from him several times, and I just know that when buying from him, the books usually take a while. But you will get them, at good prices, and fairly graded.

It sounds like several sellers and Kramerica also ships slow. My understanding is he has transportation issues and I am patient with a seller if they communicate sshipping times with me so I know what to expect.

I usually ship within one week of being paid (most of the time the next day) but that's just me.

I do think people should ship immediately after payment but some have circumstances that prevent that

  9. First, i'm a fan of the comic book and it's among the only titles I have read the entire (100+ issue) run.

    With that said,

I was let down with this issue and not just because Negan didn't die. More because it's unrealistic to believe that Maggie or Carl would ever agree to letting Negan live. It's not realistic to their characters.

I get the Rick comes from a place of law. And if that's the case, what makes him the judge and jury? Perhaps they try Negan for crimes and see if he gets convicted?

    Sounds ridiculous right?

And, the cut to Negan's neck was completely forgotten after the scuffle? Was it tainted? Was it not? Why isn't anyone (including Negan) asking if he is going to die with that cut from the bloody knife....or Rick never intended on killing Negan?

That can't be the case because he didn't know how that speech was going to go and how close he could get to Negan. That couldn't have been his plan all along to let him live.

Lastly, when Rick gave his speech it didn't seem like anyone was in agreement with that decision to let Negan live. It was almost as if he was getting silence. But Michonne took him away from the window with the impression it went fine... hm

Sure, more questions are left over than answers and it wasn't a satisfying completion to AOW.

It should have been called All Out Wimper.

I'm not dropping the book as i'm here till the end but that wasn't a high point for the comic in my opinion.

If Kirkman really wanted to shake it up...he could do what he originally intended and have some kind of Alien invasion to explain the zombie apocalypse. lol

  10. If you look closely at the bottom of the book, and the way the pages lay.

You have to ask, is that even the halfway point for the book?

You've more than likely been trolled, and you guys emotionally took the bait.

No way this arc ends that way. You guys are smarter than this.

There wasn't any bait to be taken. It was forced down our throat. Usually when somebody posts parts of a story that hasn't been released, they have the common courtesy of putting a spoiler tag.

Fair enough. But it's not the end of the world.

That's a crock! It is a big deal. I'm so angry right now for seeing that.

I'm not coming back in here until tomorrow night.

    What a giant tool!!!
