  1. I am a seller on ebay usually with 500+ cgc comics listed... I wont tell you who. It's not pertinent, nor should it matter.

Why hide your ebay name? I'll gladly tell you mine....

Your isn't Robojo is it?

Cmon, seriously why mention this and not say who you are on ebay? Odd hm

  2. If I can be so bold and just state what seem like an obvious question and with all due respect to Green...

Why only 7 posts in 5 years? Not that I'm complaining... (thumbs u

  3. Why buy a 9.9 or 10.0 when the books can easily get damaged in the holder and wind up more like 9.8s?

Why buy any graded comic in any grade...based on your theory...any book can get damaged and lose it's higher value.

While I agree paying huge amounts of money for a 9.9 over a 9.8 is insane...the comparison you provide doesn't seem to hold water.

I think the whole super HG thing is a bit over the top especially for more recent comics such as Hulk 181...I don't see the attraction. But then again, I don't have a desire to have the BEST or the HIGHEST graded comics. I'm happy in mid-high grade (I mainly stop at 9.4s and only when the price is right).

This thread reminds me of the Iron Man 1 in 9.9 that was going for over 6 figures a while ago... :insane:

  4. Page 4 really..?

just spent a short time at the local con, and OMG there were a ton of 39s.

everything from 1.0-7.5 , couldn't believe how many there were :o

That's interesting to see so many together. I normally only see a couple at my local con. But if it's a big show you most likely see a lot of key books.

TOS 39 is a classic and my personal favorite (behind Avengers 1).

  5. Collin is such a good guy! Honest, dependable, solid grading and an all around really nice person.

I've had the pleasure of meeting Collin in-person and also conducted several transactions with Collin for a bunch of TOS and other comics. Everything was EXACTLY as he described with fast shipping and perfect packing.

Collin is tops on my list in this hobby. You can't find better and i'm glad to call you a friend. :headbang:

  6. Pretty obvious that Bill doesn't care what any of us think of him.

Too talented, too rich, too special, too selfish.

Bill will ignore this thread just as he ignores the fans who buy his mess.

For the record I love his work on Fantastic Four and own one original

page from the run. Now I gotta draw a peniis' into each panel.

Have you ever met Bill? It's not that he doesn't care; it's that his ADD won't let him focus long enough to understand the problem.

Honestly, the guy is very nice and I've never seen him be a dick to anyone. However, I have seen him blow off people because he forgot they were standing right in front of him after something else caught his attention (no kidding).

I've said all along, if you like the guys work and want a sketch from him don't give him money you wouldn't be willing to set on fire. When I got my sketch from him in SD this year I intentionally offered him 1/3 less than the guy on the list in front of me because I knew there was a big risk of not getting anything at the show. Fortunately for me what I asked for piqued his interest so he did it that day. At the end of the show there were still people ahead of me on the list waiting.

I've neved met Bill. Like his art and loved his work on my favorite book, FF.

He may be very nice to some but this isn't a case of blowing,

pun not intended, someone off or forgetting he is there. This

looks like a deliberate insult to someone who did nothing more

than pay for a commission and get frustrated with zero progress

    for 3 years.

I can see how having ADD might impact Bill's ability to

remember or commit to a commission but insulting a fan who appears

to be reasonable is pure rude. It appears that Bill is calling the fan a diickhead and that has nothing to do with ADD.

    doh!

I wonder how long it will take for this thread to be the OP's fault and we'll just agree that B.S. is a good guy with ADD and us folks who like art are jerks...

    Dan

    doh! doh!

Learn to read, guys. That's not what I said.

I guess everyone has reading comprehension problems?

BS excuses. ADD? That's utter . What he did was offensive and uncalled-for.

Reading comprehension is not your strong suit is it?

I didn't excuse anything away because of ADD, I said he can't focus on anything long enough to actually give a krap about it. Remember, I'm the guy who first told Scott that his money was gone.

My opinion of this is Bill probably already had a pre-drawn dick in his portfolio and just did some finishing dicktouching for Scott. :o

I have no problem reading and ADD is ridiculous. It has nothing to do with why he didn't do the sketch until 3 years later and why he drew a schlong as a character. Nonsense.

He's a giant tool. Period. Oh, and he's a real nice guy??? :makepoint:

  9. I can't see how posting his email address is going to get you sued. I wouldn't suggest posting his phone number.

If he has a email address listed on his website....I can't see how posting it here is any harm but I'm not an expert or attorney.

You have every right to be mad as HELL about this. What he sent you is offensive and so wrong on many levels. The guy should have to make this right for you. Sorry you had to deal with it.

Who is his agent? How can we get in touch with him to let him know this kind of behavior won't be accepted among this community.
