  1. Here is the 20 pack. I think that this would represent all of the logo variants. Some of these made it into other packs, but I don't think there are any logo variants that snuck into other packs that aren't here (other than the Zero Hour title from its own pack, of course).
  2. I'm trying to have a bit of a bankroll for Chicago in a month, but the auctions taunt me. But really, books at a show or books online, what's the difference if you're getting a book you need/want at a price you like?
  3. There is a list in the thread, and I've got them all loose plus the sealed 20 pack (my only sealed 20). Not all the 0 issues have logo variants. The Zero Hour mini does, all issues, plus the 20 from the pack. I'll either find you the list or add a photo of the pack list next time I get to my office/comic room.
  4. It's gone nowhere but down the last 2-3 years.
  5. WIZD fell below a dime a share today, and apparently news got out that they fired the COO. Hopefully they last long enough for the Chicago show to happen...
  6. Great pickups bc! I got this one, and also went after the #33 that Bomber-Bob ultimately walked away with (it's the last pre-hero TOS I need now).
  7. I bid this one up a bit as well. Good looking book for the grade!
  8. I was the underbidder on that one, but landed the 8.0 #21.
  9. Unfortunately that time won't work for my trio. Since we're going to be set up we couldn't make it until 9:30 or even later, and that doesn't sound workable with their hours. It's really disappointing because we look forward to it, but I think we'll have to pass.
  10. Any word on next year? I'm pretty intrigued by the concept and would see if I could make it work depending on the dates.
  11. I always found the Antman/Giant Man stories to be a bit corny but fun. Forgettable, but entertaining enough while you were reading them. At least they weren't a slog like the Hulk stories eventually got to be. I'll definitely agree that the Abomination story in #90-91 is a highlight.
  12. I struggled through the later TTA Hulk stories, but the early part of his own title are pretty awful.
  13. These are the pens I tested.
  14. I've tested some archival paint pens, and none of them look very good or dry very nicely (they'll still smear like 15 minutes later). I last did this a few years ago, so it is possible that they have gotten better, but from what I have seen these archival pens are not really feasible for SS.
  15. It's not wholly determined by dollar values, but points should reflect a lot of factors and value is considered. I don't think anyone would argue that a $400 book should be worth 40 points., nor a $15 book worth 1000 points. It's never going to be perfect but points should broadly reflect relative desirability and that drives price.
  16. I have been sending checks to Clink for about two years now as the slabs I buy are generally keepers so I'd rather save the 3% over speeding up delivery. Whenever I've bothered to check I've found it always takes a bit over a week for a check to hit my bank with them. We've gotten used to super fast results with just about anything, so a week seems like a long time, but I assure you it's pretty standard in this case.
  17. I don't know that this is impossible, but it would seem to be unlikely barring some evidence like a DCU still sealed in a direct mail envelope/shrinkwrap. I'd think it more likely that this guy missed a book somewhere along the way and just so happened to get a DCU copy to fill the gap in his run. I know that my memory is no longer perfect as to where I got each of my run-filler ASMs, so it would be hard for me to assume that this guy's memory was perfect on this score.
  18. Great book! I see a lot fewer single digit JIMs than I do STs, and I've always wondered why this is. I've got my keeper #1, and a low grade #7 and #9 (recently sold a seriously beater #8), otherwise the two slabs I showed above are now my earliest. Meanwhile, in ST I've got #1-5, 7 and 10. Maybe I'm just lucky.
  19. Please add me +2 to the list. Looking forward to my first Gibsons dinner with this bunch.
