    They're teasing it on FB now. It may be a horror themed show, but nobody has confirmed or denied that. If it's Halloween weekend, with the dates they originally teased for the Black Friday sale, it'd fall the weekend after the October Fan Expo.

    Speaking of dates, there has been news on social media that there will be an October show too. I don't think this surprises anyone.

    WW Chicago lost onsite too. Apparently CGC signed an exclusivity deal that left Wizard out in the cold.

    Any word on whether they are sticking in the spring or going back to fall in 2018? I did not hear good vendor reports from this show in general (though I am glad you had a good show Tony!).

    I'm also speculating that someone undid the cover and restapled it. That silver cover was an inside back cover and wasn't released on a book. X-men #281 grows on trees, so it'd easily be stripped and restapled.

    For whatever reason NO is the only show they announce ASAP anymore. Did this last year too if I remember correctly. We'll hear the 2018 Wizard schedule towards the end of the year. (Assuming there still is a Wizard 2018 schedule.)

    Thanks for the info. I thought I had a few that were both with and without UPC, but I apparently hallucinated.

    Thank you! Do you know why some books would have had covers with and without UPCs for direct sales?

    I found a few Valiants with UPCs in a collection today, maybe a half dozen in three long boxes worth. So A UPC alone isn't enough, it has to say newsstand within the UPC?

    I had a similar experience to the ASM #2 you subbed. Iron Man #7 that I thought was easy 9.4 with upside structurally came back 7.0 because of inside cover tanning.

    Good question. She said they offered it at C2E2 and would do it at Baltimore, but not WW Chicago this year. No mention of whether this is a permanent switch or a one time deal.
