  4. Secret Hearts #66 Pr/Fr -- asking $2 + shipping or free if claimed with a purchase Cover detached, book is otherwise complete and readable despite rough shape. Secret Hearts #74 Fr/G -- asking $3 + shipping Cover detached, wrinkling to cover, tears to lower right back cover, but book is complete. Secret Hearts #81 G -- asking $3 + shipping 1" spine split at bottom spine, lower staple barely hanging on but top is attached to cover. Centerfold attached. Back cover has rough overhang. Secret Hearts #83 G- -- asking $3 + shipping Slight spine roll, scratch in title, piece out back cover. Book is otherwise complete and everything is attached. And one non-DC romance book... Romantic Adventures #124 VGish -- asking $3 + shipping
  5. Heart Throbs #86 G/VG- -- asking $7 + shipping Another square, solid book with everything attached. Moderate spine wear. Heart Throbs #87 G -- asking $3 + shipping Unfortunate tape pull on an otherwise solid copy.
  6. Heart Throbs #70 G minus -- asking $4 + shipping Spine wear, and a 1" x 2" piece out of the back cover. Otherwise a solid book. Heart Throbs #79 G/G+ -- asking $5 + shipping Solid book that was stapled slightly wonky. Great cover image. Everything is attached. Heart Throbs #80 G/VG -- asking $8 + shipping Solid enough book, but has a couple of bends that affect the whole book. A press would straighten those right out. Girls' Romances #95 G+ -- asking $6 + shipping Manufactured with no top staple, the bottom staple has a nice grasp on everything. Printers crease in lower left front cover, moderate wear.
  9. Girls' Romances #79 G -- asking $5 + shipping Cover detached, centerfold attached. General wear but a solid copy. Girls' Romances #81 G/G+ -- asking $6 + shipping Everything is attached. Bit of a chew at upper spine.
  10. I had put this thread on hold temporarily so I could sell some higher dollar stuff to raise funds for a recent purchase. That higher dollar thread can be found here. You are welcome to combine purchases from both of these threads for shipping. Same with my Copper/Modern sales thread. This thread will wrap up with the remainder of my DC Romance books and will then close. Just didn't want to leave it hanging...
  11. There were a ton of the 30 cent variants. If I hadn't been on a very tight budget I would have gone after a few of them. I got this one for a $14 tracking bid I placed very early that held up. Stupid cheap.
  12. The only thing that stands out is a single crease on the spine but looks uber tiny as well as some blunting on the bottom right hand corner of the FC. Even with those two things I'm thinking a 9.2. If its not been pressed then there are most likely some bends or a dent that would show up in the notes. Maybe a rusty staple (I hope not)? An awesome looking book with white pages! If the notes show fixable entries (or none at all) that book has CPR written all over it. I once had an ASM #36 CGC 9.2 that arrived with rust on the staples. I paid a pretty penny at auction, and was horrified. I sold it in a later auction at a loss because I can't do rust (especially on a 9.2). Gorgeous #20, I'd leave it as is too. Mine is a 7.0 with a near flawless spine save for a 2 mm split at the lower staple. I thought it was a sure VF.
  13. Legends #1 (Mask insert variant) F/F+ -- asking $3 + shipping Just some moderate spine stress. Spectacular Spider-man #110 Mark Jewelers VG/F -- asking $3 + shipping Looks better, but two very light creases in lower right front cover.
  14. Batman #612 NM -- asking $10 + shipping SOLD Very sharp copy, minor printing blemish near lower staple. Dr. Manhattan #4 NM -- asking $6 + shipping SOLD
  15. Detective Comics Annual 8 DCU variant NM -- asking $5 + shipping Not an easy one to run across in the wild. Batman #40 variant NM minus -- asking $4 + shipping (pretty sure that was cover price) One stress mark above Joker's finger.
  16. Good stuff, a fun collecting genre and a LOT cheaper than PreHeroMarvel ! there's enough that it will take you a long time to get them all, but not so few that you won't find any when you're looking. And even if have duplicates you can always search for upgrades...and yes, not prohibitively expensive. All of the above reasons contribute to my love of DCUs. They are a ton of fun to hunt, and generally a lot cheaper than pre-hero Marvels. They allow me to scratch the collecting itch inbetween larger purchases without breaking the bank. It really is about the hunt with these, and once you've found all the fairly easy ones (and none of them grow on trees) the real hunt begins. Shameless plug, I'll have some of my duplicates listed in my Copper/Modern sales thread . LikeEmScanned is also selling some of his dupes over there in a separate thread (from which I receive no kickbacks, I'm just spreading the word).
  17. Amazing Spider-man #173 CGC 9.6 OW-W -- asking $89 shipped Amazing Spider-man #218 CGC 9.6 W -- asking $59 shipped
