  1. X-Factor #145 & 147 VF and NM- respectively -- asking $4/pair + shipping #145 has a tiny chip off the edge of the back cover, otherwise NM. #147 has some light scuffing on the back cover and a few tiny stress lines, otherwise it is also very nice. Two less common issues from late in the original run.
  2. Death Rattle #8 Fineish -- asking $5 + shipping Spine stress and bumped upper spine corner. Still a cool book. Ghost Rider #92 VF -- asking $6 + shipping Again, more spine stress as the only issue here.
  3. Marvel Team-Up #150 NM-/NM -- asking $10 + shipping Sharp copy with minor spine stress, a press would help it a bit. Amazing Spider-man #529 NM-/NM -- asking $25 + shipping Another sharp copy with only some light spine stress.
  4. I've added a companion sales thread in the Copper/Modern section. Any books purchased over there can be combined with books bought in this thread.
  5. I've got some Copper/Modern books for sale. I'll have keys and minor keys, final issues, variants, Mark Jewelers inserts, later prints, all sorts of stuff. A clear in the thread takes precedence over ongoing negotiations, offers or lowballs via PM. A clear via PM is fine, and timestamp will rule the day in that case. Unaccepted offers or ongoing negotiations are not ownership, so unless I put a book on hold it can still be purchased in the thread at full asking price. If you are on any naughty lists or my personal "do not deal" list your money will not work here. Shipping on slabbed books in this thread will be included in the price for US buyers. International buyers are welcome, and will pay all the shipping after a $11 US credit. Raw book prices do not have shipping included, and it will be added afterwards. The maximum US shipping for raw books from this thread is $15. International shipping on raw books will also be at cost, without a maximum price. International shipping must be trackable, and I will not misrepresent the contents on a customs form. Payment via Paypal, checks, or MO are fine. International buyers must pay through Paypal. Returns on CGC books are discouraged, since they are a known quantity. Returns on raw books are accepted. If we simply disagree on something then buyer pays return shipping. If I missed something material, then shipping is on me. If you would like to see back cover scans of any book that lacks one just let me know and I'll be happy to add one. If you'd like to see my CGC board kudos, here is the link. I've been on eBay for over a decade under the same user name I have here. Batman #357 CGC 9.4 White -- NO LONGER AVAILABLE Sandman #6 CGC 9.6 SS White -- asking $79 $74 shipped Signed by Sam Kieth on 7/17/13.
  6. Uncanny Tales #29 G -- asking $15 shipped Looks great in the bag, but the spine is completely split and detached from the book. The split is clean, and the insides are all attached and readable.
  7. Beware the Creeper #4 VG -- asking $14 shipped Solid copy, cover and centerfold are well attached. Light spine wear, and a 5" crease in the lower right front cover. Great color. Superboy #149 cracked CGC 8.5 OW -- asking $25 $20 shipped Bought and cracked for a signing that I didn't end up doing.
  8. Amazing Spider-man #159 (30 cent variant) Fine -- $45 shipped Very solid copy with light wear. Some light non-color breaking bends and wrinkles. 1" crease on the upper left back cover. A press and dry clean of the stacking dirt on the back cover could help it. Adventure Comics #299 Fair -- asking $8 shipped (mostly postage) It is all here, but rough. Cover attached at the lower staple, centerfold is attached at both. Adventure Comics #303 F-/F -- asking $29 shipped First Matter Eater Lad (I bought it because I'd always wanted to own it for some reason, now it is out of my system). Solid copy, cover and centerfold are well attached. Light general wear, great color and gloss.
  9. Incredible Hulk #141 G -- asking $19 shipped Solid, well centered copy and the cover and centerfold are tight at both staples. The right side has some wear to the edge of the book, and the lower right corner has gotten wet at some point. The pages are all fine and readable, but there is some light staining to the covers. The bottom staple has also made a slight transfer stain to the paper that does not affect any art (the staple doesn't look particularly rusty at all except for maybe a touch in the interior). It is a copy, and if you would like a lower grade one this one is for you. Daredevil #133 (30 cent variant) F/VF -- asking $45 shipped Very solid copy, with light spine wear. Might benefit slightly from a press. Minor printing blemish at bottom left of front cover, minor chip off left edge of back cover.
  10. I think it may be time to officially be concerned that this show is doomed.
  11. Ok, my day getting away from me continues to be a theme of this thread. The good news is that I've got a LOT of time tomorrow to list stuff, including a companion thread to this one in Copper/Modern that can combine shipping with purchases here. Fantastic Four #53 G/G+ -- asking $29 shipped Pretty much at my cost on this one. Solid book with well attached cover and centerfold, but moderate wear to spine and cover. Second Black Panther and intro Ulysses Klaw. Superman #371 VF/VF+ -- asking $15 shipped SOLD Beautiful book, main issue is a 1/8" tear in the top edge of the front cover in the DC circle. Otherwise the book is really quite nice. Classic Adams cover.
  12. The first 6 Contagion issues, Catwoman 31 was #4, was in a Collector's set. Sometimes it's easier to find the collector's set than to chase the individual issues. That's how I ended up getting mine, a boardie had a spare boxed set to sell to me.
  13. That took long enough... time to post more? Sunday got away from me, but in a good way in spending some time with my wife who was originally supposed to be working. I've got more stuff in mind for this afternoon, about 3 CST.
  14. Looks like they've booked the same dance group in Portland that they had in NO. Probably means more blaring music and dancers on stages. Be prepared.
  15. Fantastic Four #44 VG/VG+ -- asking $20 + shipping SOLD This is a difficult book to grade. It has the structure of a VF, but it also has foxing to the front and back covers and the stamps on both covers. There is also a very short edge tear on the right edge of the front cover. The cover and centerfold are very tight at both staples. Fantastic Four #47 VG -- asking $45 $40 shipped This is a more traditional VG, but has excellent gloss and deep, rich cover colors. The pages are also really nice. Cover and centerfold are well attached at both staples. There is a bit of distributor overspray on the bottom back cover. A very solid copy.
  16. Excellent report! Glad you had a great time, you got some fantastic sketches!
  17. Tales of Suspense #75 VG -- asking $25 shipped SOLD Solid copy, spine wear being the main issue. There is also a very light 3" crease in the lower right corner. Cover and centerfold solidly attached at both staples. Nicely centered. Back with more later today. I've got some FFs lined up.
  18. X-Men #134 VF/NM -- asking $35 $31 shipped SOLD Light spine stress is the culprit here. X-Men #143 VF/NM -- asking $28 $25 shipped Book looks dead NM from the front cover. Lower spine has a bit of an impact ding that is only visible on the back cover and looks like it could completely press out. I've added a photo that makes it look enormous. Priced as it currently is, whether or not you press it is up to you. X-Men #158 VF minus -- asking $15 shipped Solid enough copy, with light spine stress and some non-color breaking bends on the covers that will easily press out if you're into that. Very short color breaking crease in the lower right corner that won't press out.
  19. Neal Adams, Michael Cudlitz, and Dolph Lundgren added.
