Pretty spectacular week for my Strange Tales run. Picked up nice books from @RICK STARR and @Sweet Lou 14 (checks will be in the mail guys, I promise!) and then got these on the last day of the "assorted" section in the last Clink auction (not sure how these got put in there but I'll take it). Will need to see about listing some undercopies soon...

Got the upgrade I was after on Comiclink last night! If anyone here won the 7.5 #58 I thought it went for a very good price (I paid more for my 7.0).

Me either. I haven’t been since 2017 so I’m really happy with these dates. Now I’ll be that this mess is cleared up enough for a show by then.

I would agree that it should be a purple label, but I can’t think of any special labels I’ve seen in purple. Maybe that isn’t possible? It should be for reasons like this, otherwise people will eventually use them to game the system and hide resto from someone who isn’t careful enough to read the blue label.

Miller books are back in hand. Very pleased, as both were CGC 9.6 that were cracked for this adventure.

I'd agree that this probably isn't ineptitude on Wizard's part. Even perfectly ept companies are unable to plan effectively for a situation that is literally evolving day by day. I imagine that they are either waiting on insurance, the government to shut down gatherings that will allow them to get out of a contract (or at least relief), or some hail-mary vaccine/treatment that will reduce/eliminate their risk. I wouldn't be going this year either, and I am a pessimist when it comes to this show happening, but I do want to see a healthy (no pun intended) summer show stay on the schedule in Chicago.

Well, we’re getting into late July. Can’t say I’m optimistic.

#11 has become a favorite of mine as well. Yes, all graded. I'm aiming for 6.0 or higher, but that really isn't going to be possible for the earlier books. Not only are most of those in black hole collections, I'm sure, but my budget would get blown out too much.

I have plenty else to do this morning, which made it a perfect time to put my #1-12 grouping together.

I paid just over that for this 3.5, and felt like I got a good deal on it. I think that this is probably the 2nd best book in the run after #1.
