  1. IMO...there is a trickle down effect that brings lower grades up also...”a rising tide lifts all boats”, kind of thing...
  2. I only have 5 comics left...down from 8 long boxes just a couple of months ago...
  3. May be a bindery chip, which is a production flaw and would not be counted against it.
  4. Great wrap on that one...how long ago did you get rid off it?
  5. In February of ‘19 I bought a 9.4 copy of 180 from Roy for $850 and thought I was over paying at the time, but wanted his very first appearance...I already had a 9.2 181...as usual, from Roy, it is an exceptional copy but would have never guessed it would skyrocket like this...I’ve downsized to just 5 comics from 8 long boxes in the last few months...these are two of my keepers but with these prices I may be tempted to sell...
  6. You came to the right place...your wisdom will be a welcome addition to this board...
  7. You are missing a lot of them...I guess “major” and “iconic” are subjective though...
  8. Go big Blue...no contest in my opinion...not a fan of purple with the possible exception of a few GA books...of course, again, this is just my opinion...I had a purple label GL 76 8.5 W in my collection for years and it triggered what little OCD I do have...
  9. Nice book...I read it as Stan White...
  10. Not much of a magazine fan but would like to know the most valuable, all things being equal?...Is it Vampirella 1?
  11. It seems that Marvel chipping affects the value of a comic more than it does the grade...typically CGC is very lenient on production defects...stains can get hammered depending on size and appearance...
  12. I bought mine in 1985 at Lone Star comics in Arlington,Tx...paid $32 for it and had to think about it...a lot of money for a 16 year old...
  13. PayPal, cashier checks, money orders, checks or cash accepted...a prices include shipping to the contiguous US...No refunds on CGC graded books...
  14. Tomb of Dracula 10 9.4 W...beautiful wrap and centering...bought this from Roy years ago...he thought it should have graded higher and I agree...won’t find one prettier...a little aggressive on this one as I don’t mind keeping it...$3000
  15. PayPal, cashier checks, money orders, checks or cash accepted...a prices include shipping to the contiguous US...No refunds on CGC graded books...
  16. Pardon my DC ignorance...who is the gentleman using skis?...is that the DC equivalent to the Silver Surfer?..seen this cover many times and just noticed...
