  1. That's pretty awesome. Is it a commission type piece or was it published somewhere?
  2. Nice - I'm glad it went to Garth. All I heard was "wedding present" so I had nightmares of the cover going in the dumpster during someone's divorce proceedings.
  3. Nice one, Chris! Here's my latest from the SDCC - Dave McKean Cages mixed media DPS..
  4. I would guess Kent or Aronofsky. That'd make sense since I've heard nothing of it being sold to anyone, let alone a price. I don't have any concrete information on the subject, but I know that Aronofsky commissioned James Jean to produce a very elaborate painting based on The Fountain for his private collection, so it would kind of follow that he'd want Kent Williams's cover as well.
  5. Glenn Fabry Preacher #1 cover. It's one of two Preacher covers not owned by the guy that has the other 64. Rumored to have been given as a wedding gift years ago.
  6. I can't defend him as Marvel's EIC, but I always loved Joe Quesada's early 90s work. McFarlane and Lee had nothing on him. That said, here's a piece I picked up on eBay for a song (compared to what those other two artists stuff sells for anyway): X-Factor 92 Pinup / Fatal Attractions Promo Ad
  7. Thanks to divad for the great, inexpensive copy of Iron Man #1 (and a cool bonus book)!
  8. Awww yeah! That was never one of my favorite Ex Mach pages when I owned it, but it looks a hell of a lot better now. Congrats on getting Tom to finish it (especially since he's off the book now).
  9. Great pages. That's definitely one of the best scenes from the series thus far.
  10. Looks that way, although I'm pretty sure that the cover to #27 will be going to a different collector.
  11. Just posted this month's Ex Machina cover (#26) in my gallery. I've had this one for 4 months, but Tony asked me not to post it until the cover showed up in the solicitations. For whatever reason, the solicitations all used the last page of EM 24 as the "cover" of #26, so I haven't been able to post it until now. Click here...
  12. Nice! I read this issue a week late and somehow knew you'd have these three pages already
  13. Here's another of my faves that has been hidden away for almost a year now. Formerly of the Jesusjon collection, it's a key Charles Vess Books of Magic/Sandman page...
  14. Thanks! I'm really happy with this one. JJ was also kind enough to include a nearly poster size print of the Photoshop version which I may post in the gallery along side it.
  15. Here's the first art I've posted in a while, the latest Fables cover from the best cover artist out there, James Jean!
  16. This may not be a popular opinion, but I believe that separate inks are no better than color guides. They're an enhanced photocopy/lightbox. Ink only pieces would add value to the original pencils if included in a purchase, but on their own, I'll pass on every one I come across.
  17. So that makes him Pherson to your Great Machine?!? Nice page! Thanks. Yeah, it pretty much does. But we talk more than Mitch and Jack. Why am I the evil one? Well, if that's truly the case Jonathan, you better duck...
