  1. The only way you're getting one for $25 is to get lucky on some poor schmuck's misguided BIN That said, there has to be more coming as people unpack their luggage....right?
  2. So the same person is buying every $20+ copy on ebay? The #1 & 2 set that ended at $52.87 last night had 7 different bidders over $20. Clearly they all want a copy. Of course, they probably want a copy because of the hype and speculation, so we're not disagreeing on that...
  3. I saw a ton of Thief of Thieves #1s at C2E2, all priced at $10-15 each. They weren't selling. ToT Comicspro variants for $75-100. They weren't selling either. And Saga #1 RRPs priced between $150 and $200. They were still there Sunday at closing. As you've been told repeatedly, single isolated sales don't make up a trend. The regular ToT 1s have sold repeatedly on eBay in the $20-$35 range, so it's a trend there. However, what you noted at C2E2 makes me wonder if the internet sales are inflated by hype, perhaps generated to an extent on this very board. I don't think the ebay needs this board's help to inflate the price of a Kirkman property that has been optioned by AMC. The prices may have been lower at C2E2, but that would just be a case of the real world lagging behind the internet hype machine. You get a bit out of touch when you're penned up in a convention center all weekend and, apparently, these days books can quadruple in price over the same period of time. I bought 14 copies of ToT #1 at a random LCS on Friday - that doesn't mean it's still a $2.99 book.
  4. Here's one I just grabbed. Michonne and Abe vs. Jesus in his first appearance:
  5. 17K give or take Edit: Oops didnt notice there was another page of this thread
  6. Yeah, that's what I was saying about the unreliable narrator a few pages ago. I definitely think she's retelling the story based on the embellished tales she heard as a kid. It would be funny if the story jumped to Hazel's present-day and switched to a gritty hyper-realistic style.
  7. Page 167 for me, son. You need to learn how to view this forum properly.

  9. Here's two more. The way the guy is holding them doesn't inspire confidence: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Saga-Retailer-Summit-Diamond-Variant-/270955604085?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item3f16366875
  10. I'll be in the market for the RRP if anyone feels like pre-selling...
  11. Spoilers? I considered that a spoiler-free review. It wasn't really apart from now I know to expect something called *spoilers* The Stalk. No worries though, I'm just a little mental like that. Well, there's definitely no point in reading it now!
  12. Yeah, I don't see anything wrong with buying a long box full of back issues. New readers don't need to come into the LCS and buy up back issue floppys. That's what trades are for. New readers also shouldn't need issues 90-95 yet. Start them on the first trade...
  13. I was just reading this story last night. Douglas makes it clear that he burned a walker and passed it off as Davidson's corpse, so that's who would be buried under the 'Davidson' tombstone. I'd assume there's a pretty decent chance he's alive and will pop up in the story at some point.
  14. Pay with Paypal using a credit card. Paypal should cover you, as they almost always side with the buyer. If that doesn't work out, your credit card company should have your back. I still want to know the "nature" of this item that makes it so "un-returnable." Maybe the coffee shows through the front more than you can see in the photo

  16. I'll go $4K, which is still a 50% discount vs. buying from Tony The seller is new, but from the description and pics is almost certainly legit. It doesn't look like the damage affects the art at all, which is all that usually matters on OA.
