I think a lot of your Tec’s We’re from a scarce era. That Joker cover is sweet! I really liked your Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.

2018 NEW SETS TO BE BUILT (COMPETITIVE)
Silver replied to RegistryAdministrator's topic in CGC Registry
I would like to request Atlas Showgirls. There is currently a Sherri the Showgirl/Showgirls competitive set, but I am requesting that a Showgirls set be separate, they are separate titles. The Showgirls was three issues, 4,1 and 2. Thanks! -

What's new in your Silver Age collection this week
Silver replied to Silver's topic in Silver Age Comic Books
Picked these up from Terry's show last weekend. The Superboy I had loooong wanted an upgrade. The others I just bought because Brian Peets brought a nice box of River City books and I wanted to get a couple. They have great color gloss! -

Venus 11. I bought one from a CBG ad in the late 70’s. Multiple copies available.

Terry’s California Comic Con 2018
Silver replied to Ricksneatstuff's topic in Golden Age Comic Books
This has become my favorite show of the year. It really feels like a comic show. Only bought a few books, but they were ones I was really happy to get. The Saturday trading room thing was an a blast! -
Awesome, thanks!

For sale is a Junior 12. Classic Feldstein headlights cover, super hot book in all grades and great interior art. Nice solid copy with very nice eye appeal. Book overall has CR/OW pages but looks OW/W in places and has bright cover colors. The biggest issues are the small holes. One on the front cover, and several on the back. The one on the front goes all the way trough the book, the ones on the back do not. The are very small and neat and are at the bottom of the book. There is also a 3/4” tear on the back cover. I took a bunch of pictures but please let me know if you have any questions or want to see more. Shipping is $10 in the US USPS priority mail. Priced at $475 thanks for looking!

Nice pickup on those two B&B’s!

Don’t know if I would go as far as “ultra rare in any condition”. Wonder what it would go for with no reserve? $50?

I was following these two on eBay as possible upgrades, they went for strong prices, unfortunately I didn't get either of them: https://www.ebay.com/itm/SUGAR-AND-SPIKE-92-CGC-NM-9-4-SINGLE-HIGHEST-CGC-GRADE-VERY-RARE/332498637224?hash=item4d6a7691a8:g:4gAAAOSw9hdaQQ0~ https://www.ebay.com/itm/SUGAR-AND-SPIKE-97-CGC-NM-9-6-HIGHEST-CGC-GRADE-NAKED-BOTTOM-COVER-RARE/332498632909?hash=item4d6a7680cd:g:3BkAAOSwZW5aQQuQ and really shocked how low this one went, I do know that it is quite common though, and not hard to find in high grade: https://www.ebay.com/itm/SUGAR-AND-SPIKE-83-CGC-NM-9-6-SUPERMAN-SUIT-COVER-SUPER-HERO-ISSUE-1969/332498643583?hash=item4d6a76aa7f:g:np4AAOSwZqZaQQ6f

I bought this book earlier this year. I have had Superboy 2-258 for years now and only needed the number one. I never found a copy I actually wanted to buy, they were always miswrapped or had staples a half inch into the covers, or were drab looking or had writing on the cover. This copy had none of that and I was thrilled to complete my run with it

If you could complete a full run... what would it be?

About the same as above. “I liked it well enough” is how I sum it up. It was fun. I could start picking stuff apart, but why? It was a fun movie to watch. They keep making em, I’ll keep going.

Guess I don’t understand the “don’t want to leave someone 30 boxes” problem. I don’t think of my collection as a problem for whoever gets it. They can do whatever they want with it, call a dealer, and bam...that problem is done, if they see it that way. I think my family knows what the collection has meant to me. I just don’t feel the need to consolidate and liquidate so my heirs can just inherit numbers in a bank account. Just my
