  1. You guys been posting up some great stuff up lately. And to keep the thread going, one of my favorites. Been having it awhile now. I remember at first glance, damn that guys taking a slug point blank to the dome, but look a little closer and notice the background with the mirror......granted the guy has an NBA player wingspan...great underrated cover, well to me at least

@JoeRock, looking at this piece you posted in the 2018 Budget edition, I'm wondering if Pugh meant to have all 4 text boxes on the right side of the bottom panel?

When I first saw the page listed, I thought the same thing, so I pulled out my copy, nope that’s it. Perhaps originally that was the idea? Either way, beautiful Pugh work, glad no one likes HB haha

Nice! That Fight Against Crime #16 is on my list and keeps eluding me. (Those black dots in the upper left corner of every copy bug me though. I keep thinking it's been hole-punched.)  lol

Funny you say that cause it was the first thing I looked at. Haha. But for whatever reason with these books, as long as the covers decent looking, I don’t care about the grade. Split cover, just means it’s cheaper.... but I need to stop buying and save for a Fight Against Crime 20, love that crazy cover.

So happy to knock this one off the list after spending most of the year looking for one. :headbang:  An insane cover, love everything about it.

Weird Chills is such a great name for a horror title, but the summer of '54 was not a good time to debut a horror title. Wish it could have started a year earlier... ah well.

Great pickup! Need that one to complete the trio!
