  1. One and the same.Fits in my DS collection and my Pacific collection.
  2. Good luck.If I'd seen it I may have thought pretty hard about too.Make sure to let us know the results.
  3. Will do but it may be late tomorrow.
  4. While not a comic book at all, this was published by Pacific under their Blue Dolphin imprint. This was the last book I needed to complete my Pacific Comics Run. Special thanks to MCS for making it possible in their last auction.
  5. Too cool.Wish Kerry Wood had stayed healthy.Had the most wicked movement on the ball I have ever seen.
  6. Never seen this item before so I had to grab it.1994 Dark Horse.Fold out with images from Rocketeer #3(?) and a place for a sig.Mine is unsigned.
  7. Anyone here win this ? Full run of mid grade MM + extras for $215.00.Really thought about dropping a bid but decided not to. http://www.ebay.com/itm/130727784878?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649#ht_1338wt_1166
  8. One of the better copies of this I have had, even better than the one I had back in 1989 when it was only a couple of years old.I just got through reading the interview with Dave and I had forgotten that Marvel had sued him over the Rocketeer way back then. Thanks for not backing down Dave. And thanks for all the great memories & images you left us with. You are still missed.
  9. Lot 1 Lot 2,all Rocketeer. One regular & one deluxe edition of the movie adaption.
  10. That's an understatement. BTW, can the 2-D Sheena be considered a 2nd print? Or, is the 3-D version the 2nd print? I thought about that, Keith. I just consider them a 2-D version and a 3-D version as someone had explained a long while back the 2-D was created for those having vision problems seeing 3-D. But it would be interesting to see what others think. Maybe the 2-D was created later, and therefore is considered a second printing. I'm not positive on this but I think they were done at the same time which would just make the 2-D the variant (since significantly more scarce) and the 3-D the regular printing. What say ye? The 2D versions of 3D books were put out by Eclipse and GCD isn't showing any Sheena by them.Did Blackthorn do a 2D version of their 3D Sheena?
  11. Not sure if I had posted this one yet but I just realized today that it is the second print.I had the scan in pb and never even noticed it until today. It's only vg but I'm plenty proud to have it. Also scored a couple more lots of DS books that I'll post later. All dupes but who cares?
  12. Hit the local flea market yesterday and saw mostly modern drek, coverless Classic Illustrated & beat Dennis the Menace but did manage to find a copy of The Warriors on DVD and got probably the best deal of the day:a BOSE Wave Radio/CD that works great for $10.Sweet!
  13. Pulled a trade with a good friend in Canada.I sent him a couple of 9.6 Judge Dredd and he sent me these 2 DS books.Scanned in the bags but they look much better in hand. Don't think I posted this before. It's a flyer from the SFBC advertising the Stevens book.Still haven't picked up the actual book yet.
  14. Alter Ego is published by TwoMorrows publishing and they put out a wealth of stuff for the comic book lover that is really interested in the history, people and back stories of everything comics. You may be able to get digital editions direct from them. They do have current editions available, not sure how far back they go.Here their web site with all the info you should need. http://twomorrows.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=98_55 I ordered a couple of Dave Stevens issues from them and was well pleased with their service.
  15. Does anyone have a copy of Scout Interlude? It was a mini comic Truman released in his Dixie Pistols album.Scout got married in this issue and it bridged the gap between series'. I have the album but it is unopened and until I can get my ancient Kenwood stero going I'm not going to open the album. Also is there anyway to find out how many copies of the album were pressed? It can't have been very many.
  16. My Comico Attractions finally arrived. While not a comic book I plan on keeping this ad.It came in the monthly packet from the Science Fiction Book Club.
  17. Quack #1? Just got my copy this past week.Maybe a 9.0.Good enough for me. I also have a Comico Attractions #6 on the way.Back when CA6 was first delivered I had about 30 copies.Would CGC grade one of these?
  18. One and the same. (thumbs u The cover is a swipe from a Raymond panel. Total coolness.Who did the writing for this & is it any good?
  19. Do you still have it? BTW, I think Dave's first work was on the Tarzan comic strip helping Russ Manning. Sadly no.It went in my first bow out of comics.I sold everything I had in one lot.
  20. Joshua was buying up Stevens books long before it was the hot thing to do. I was hoarding Stevens books back in the late 1980s.Quit collecting around 1992,sold out in 2001,started up again in '03 and rebuilt my Stevens collection up quite nicely but stupidly sold them off awhile back and now I'm restocking again.Third time's charms. My prize was a signed lithograph of Betty from the Glamour International cover an old flame gave me for Christmas in 1987. Also had most of the Eclipse posters too. They looked really great in that large size. Ah well, life goes on.
  21. I picked this one up on Amazon for $17 plus shipping. Finally glad to have a copy.It looks to have some good reading but the B&W pictures inside are really poor quality, cover scans & such.
  22. The Doctor-- People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but *actually* from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint - it's more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly... time-y wimey... stuff Besides, I gots sumthin kool in the mail. Me too
  23. Lots of modern artists could take lessons from that cover (thumbs u
