  1. Here's a link to a page that has a censored pic of it. Below the pic is a link to the uncensored version. It is more than a hole that probably factored into the decision not to encapsulate. https://www.bleedingcool.com/2019/05/22/new-faithless-1-2-risque-covers-comic-stores-today/
  2. Here are the pics (from the other boards). That bottom edge does look trimmed in the first pic. In the second pic, the trim job looks curved. Could be because of the angle of the pics, but, I would definitely say it was trimmed before purchase.
  3. Not saying you trimmed it. Just that we are only hearing (or seeing) one side of the story. I do tend to believe your side, but, I don't want to rush to judgement until there is enough info to form my own opinion. This scenario has been played out here before. Sometimes it is valid, other times we have seen it flip to the other side of the story. Again, not saying I don't believe you, just want more info. I have not seen the pics of the book in this thread and did not know they were posted somewhere on this forum or any other.
  4. Still sitting at Received Still at received, but, CCS billed my Credit Card. Progress....
  5. The problem here is we have not seen any pictures of the book, either when it was purchased nor after it was graded. Hard to pass judgement without concrete evidence. How many times have we seen this scenario played out around here? It is very possible the seller missed the trimming. It is also possible CGC made a mistake and it could happen that the buyer had it trimmed. Who to believe without proof?
  6. So, we know the thief is a plumber.
  7. I want to say it was around 50-60 days, but, I don't remember exactly. I remember calculating that I should have the books back around 1st or 2nd week of June before I submitted. That is probably not going to happen.
  8. How is it revenue lost? Who was gonna buy those books at those prices?
  9. I "wonder" who these experts are? I'll sell him my 2.0 Avengers #1 for $8000, you know, just cause I feel sorry for his loss. He would come out ahead after the insurance pays off
  10. I'm just waiting for the return of Calbot. I got nothing else to contribute to this thread.
  11. As long as it kept me from bothering my parents, they were fine with it.
  12. How did they send it back to Cardinal Comics, if you were the original owner? Cardinal should have had nothing to do with the book, unless your buyer used them for the relabel. Seems to be some missing information on the re-submission. When a book is relabeled, I believe it will get a new certification number, but, not 100% positive on it. Maybe calling CGC can get the new certification number if it did change.
  13. Can you add this to the Batman: The killing Joke set Detective Comics #1 (Reprints Batman: The Killing Joke in German) Panini Deutschland, 2001 1274606021
  14. There is also https://comicsmv.com/site/login It's free, but, it seems to not have some issues listed.
  15. Those should press out, but, it is difficult to say what the grade change would be without seeing the whole book. I would think a .5 bump would be realistic at minimum just from what you've shown here.
  16. Not only did a fist appear, it was also the first appearance of Spider-Man
  17. Foreskin Man is only up to issue #7. The Shmo has yet to make an appearance. Just sayin'
  18. I've been keeping an eye out for it, but, haven't seen anything. Still looking,
  19. I was browsing around the CGC website and stumbled across a page that had The Killing Joke as the featured comic of the month for March 2018. https://www.cgccomics.com/news/article/6468/ They even mentioned me in the article. I'm FAMOUS!!!
