  1. All-True Crime 34 (canadian ed) Marvel - raw unrestored unpressed Cover & CF are snug at the staple. Vertical crease that goes up through the an in the blue suit. Nice spine. 4.5 - 5.0 $75 + $5 shipping
  2. All-True Crime Cases 31 - Marvel (canadian ed) - raw Might have been a subscription comic as it has a crease going straight down the middle. The cover is snug at the 1 staple. 2 CFs are detached but present (the two detached CFs have been glued together at the spine) Presents like a 3.5, but with the detached CFs I'll call it a 2.0-2.5 $65 + $5 shipping
  3. Taffy Comics 1 (LB Cole Cover) - Raw - TOJO appearance Low grade. Visually you will see the basic condition of the comic. One thing you may not see is a strip of archival tape along the inside spine sealing/reinforcing the spine. Cover is detached. CF is snug at the staples. Interior pages show tanning but they are still supple. I'll call it a 1.5 "conserved" grade. $50 + $5 shipping
  4. The Cap 1 looks like a 4.0 to me, and the Batman 1.... yeeesh, the stain is huge, plus the rusty staple? How is it a higher grade than the Cap 1??? Still.... both awesome comics, but I would choose the Cap 1 over the Batman 1 out of these two.
  5. *See page 267 of Ken Aldred's book "The Science of DC". That page fully explains how Supes vibrates the molecules in his body at a frequency to nullify sonic booms as he approaches the speed of sound.
  6. I wonder how many boardies won't have a clue what the Kojak reference is.
  7. Is he a teenage Mutant who's power is just now manifesting?
  8. Oh man...... Ken you might be on to something. That's brilliant!
  9. THAT'S WHAT I DID!!!! I got out a flashlight and a tennis ball to explain it to him but he couldn't grasp the concept!!!!
  10. WTF????? Alan Hart, you're an id!ot. I once worked with a guy like a guy like this. I told him a "full" moon will ALWAYS be rising opposite the sunset. And he told me "No, when I lived in Colorado there were many times the full moon was high in the sky at sunset." You can't argue with guys like this.
  11. It's not initials..... The stone used to say: "HELP! FREE ME!!!!!" But his evil captor saw him carving it into the stone, and broke up the surface of the rock. now all that's left is the FR
  12. He IS friendly! See.... he's reaching out for a hug. Awwww..... Oh geeez, I see that they actually DO have him chained to a stone.
  13. We've all seen this ad on the back cover of our comics. "The 'Friendliest' monster in town!" I mean..... look at him. He's SO happy! No wonder he's so happy and friendly..... you've got him CHAINED UP like a slave, so he can't escape.
  14. Dude, you better pray that your wife wasn't looking over your shoulder right then as you typed that.
  15. Hey Kav, what's the machine you use to suck up dirt and clean your house?
  16. X-Men 151 & 152 - raw - unrestored 7.0 range 151 has a distribution ink overspray (you can see it at the top of back cover) 152 has light foxing on the back cover $4.99 for both + $5.01 shipping
  17. That's how I want to find my Action 1 Truthfully, I bought a 2" pile of coverless incomplete GA comics on ebay about 15 years ago for $50 and there was a Page 1 to Superman 1, and a complete interior to Superman 2 (the wraps were all scattered but there). Also, last year I bought a pile of covereless cr*p that I spotted an All Star 8 in, and another auction of coverless cr*p that I spotted a Suspense 3 in. So what you say is possible
  18. I don't understand why they would, out of the blue, make this comic a thinner size.
