You simply can't take decades of character building and throw it out the window. Those panels weren't necessary.

OK, this is not a "Comic Panel", but it's a ridiculous "comic book villain toy". I just saw this on ebay. A Braniac Rubber Duckie. NO WONDER he wants to destroy earthlings. At first I thought this was a 1 of a kind hand made item, but no..... they've got rubber duckies for a bunch of DC superheroes. "Soak in Safety with the Superman Bath Duck"

So here's some info I never thought I'd share here on the boards ...... I do rope spinning. When you twirl the rope around your body like that it's a move called the "wedding ring". The Wedding ring only works if your hand is above your head. The position Superboy is holding the rope in... the rope will just wrap up around his body. Also.... a cape is the enemy of a rope spinner. Gotta take the cape off if you're going to spin a rope.

I moved those two over to ebay to try them over there (can't have them there & here at the same time as per rulez)

I think you made a great purchase. It will only go up in value. One possible decision to make..... since it presents WAY better than .5 you could resubmit to get a Green label at a higher grade. Judging by the front cover, it looks like a press & dry clean might give you a 5.0 Green Label. Something to think about.

A 5.0? Did the spine split in the mail? His grading is actually maliciously bad. 7.0 on that Disney comic is outrageous too. Maybe we all need to buy some cheap comics from him just to load him up with some Neg feedbacks. His name is coming up WAY too much on the boards.

The way DC milked the appearance of Doomsday and the death of Superman to sell comics. Milked Milked Milked. Yeah, they had nothing to do with any of the problems of the 90s. Greed I succumbed to it too when I stupidly bought cases of some of the comics.

I bought 3 cases of pre-superman death books thinking I would make a fortune. You know.... the ones that showed Doomsday's Arm at the end of the comic (another DC scam). Each case has 300 comics. So i had 900 comics. When I bought the cases I figured half the comics in each case would be 9.8s. Man, it's not it at all. There are SO many stacking curves in the case. So you gotta press basically everything in the case. I actually bought a press because of these stupid cases thinking I would get rich. I ended up selling the press and GIVING the 3 cases to a LCS because I was sick of storing them. I know there was definitely money to be made (and probably many 9.8s), but I was so pissed at myself for falling down that rabbit hole. I enjoy this hobby so much, but not that part of the hobby.

Remember how people were in line wrapped around the block waiting to get their "Death of Superman" comic from the LCS. OMG I couldn't believe it. I'm an avid comic collector and even I didn't fall for that rubbish. To this day I have never owned that issue.
