Through my collecting years I've seen at least 100 comics that were missing the top or the bottom staple due to "manufacturing error". And those are pretty rare. You gotta figure that sooner or later there might be a time that both staples are missing as a "manufacturing error". Or, maybe the printer wanted to look at the 1st copy off the press to check it before they started stapling. What I'm amazed at is how nice it is for no staples. Maybe it's some kind of file copy? As far as grading..... I'm sure it'll take a hit. Look at other graded copies of any comics with "Manufacturing errors" and you'll find your answer. Or.... maybe ask CGC. Cool comic!

I use the blue painters tape. One piece in the middle. I got the idea from someone else on the boards here and found it works great.

ST110 for me....... as I met up and was buying it in a parking lot from the seller. I asked if I could take it out of the mylar and examine it before I bought it, and the guys wife (who was holding it) suddenly opened the mylar and stuck the tape to front cover when she pulled it out. It's a dark cover too. It instantly went from a 7.0 to a 5.0 and I paid WAY less for it.

1962 French version of the movie, "This Island Earth". It's the same size as a US comic. It's a "Photo Comic"..... literally hundreds of photos with captions telling the story. What an awesome front cover.

OK.... this is technically not a Planet Comic. I'm not really sure if it even qualifies as a comic. But it's Sci-Fi, it's old, and it's cool, and I wanted to show it off. From the 1955 movie "This Island Earth". A french "Picture Comic" adaptation of the movie. What an awesome cover.
