  1. How many edges of the cover were trimmed? Can you tell if it was a micro trim or if quite a bit was trimmed? Was there any other resto? You, my friend may have just gotten a 9.2 for 1/42 of the price. Not bad.
  2. SOLD US Fighting Air Force 15 (Superior 1955) PLUS Warfront 27 (Harvey 1955) raw. Both are complete low grade reader comics. USAF 14 has a detached cover (never had a top staple). tears around the lower staple (tiny amount of tape repair. Warfront 27's cover is detached at the bottom staple plus it has a STAB that pierces the entire comic in the middle. $7 for both
  3. Marines in Battle 11 & 13 (Atlas 1956) raw. 13 would grade around 3.0. Cover & CF are solid at the staples. It's got marvel chipping on the right side & a crease at the bottom. There are 3 tiny slivers of tape where the Marvel Chipping is. 11 would grade around 2.5. Cover & CF are solid at the staples. Missing piece at lower right. 1 1/4" spine split at the bottom. $15 for both
  4. Police against Crime 7 (Premier 1955) raw. Grades in the 2.0 range Cover & CF are solid at the staples. Some creases at the top & bottom of free edge. 7. Yanks in Battle 1 (Quality 1956) raw. Nicest comic of the ones I'm listing today. I think it could grade as high as 6.0. Cover & CF are solid at the staples. Small crease bottom right cover. 1/8" color loss on the hat of the guy with the machine gun. Back cover has just a hint of a stain next to the glass. $50
  8. Don Winslow of the Navy 71 (Charleton 1955) raw. Comic grades in the 3.0 range Cover and CF are solid at the staples. Mostly just general wear. $8
  9. Tell it to the Marines 10 & 14 (Toby Press 1955) Raw. 14 is lower grade maybe 1.8 range. 10 has a clipped coupon (affects story) Let's call it PR $10 for both
  10. SOLD Battle Fire 1 (Aragon 1955) raw. Comic grades in the 3.5 range Cover and CF are solid at the staples. 14. Combat Kelly 31 (Atlas 1955) raw. This comic grades in the 2.5 range. Cover & CF are solid at the staples. Comic has a "moisture" feel to it. There is no rust on the staples. Tiny amount of color loss at the free edge of front & back covers. Back cover has a light stain at the free edge. $8
  15. Combat Kelly 33 & 34 (Atlas) 1955. raw. A kid must have gotten into a War frenzy with these two because there is a STAB puncture that goes thru the middle of both books. All pages are pierced. 34 presents like a 4.0-5.0 & 33 presents like a 2.5, but with the stabs lets call them both 1.0s $10 for both

  19. Even a 1.5 with resto is a nice comic to have when you're talking about AF15. Congrats
  20. Wrecked. That comic is wrecked. I don't mind a stan sig, but it's gotta be placed in an appropriate place. I like splash pages. If it's gonna be on the front cover then under spidey's swinging arm (with a brand new sharpie, NOT with a sharpie that's signed 10,000 other copies so the head is worn down). Seriously, that comic just lost 20% of it's value.
  21. A .5 raw went for a pretty good price tonight on ebay. Since the cover had the top part I think it is more valuable (since many .5s are remaindered and missing the top). $4100. I bid up to $3800 but didn't have the funds right now to go higher. I think in the market we're in that $4100 is a pretty good price. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Amazing-Fantasy-15-HOLY-GRAIL-Marvel-Comic-MEGA-KEY-1st-Spider-Man-VINTAGE-12c/132405198467?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  22. His signature basically blends in with Carnage. Brilliant!
