  1. Economy Fast Track moves pretty fast. It's part of what makes slow Economy so frustrating.
  2. The stamp says "this book is exchangeable". What would you like to exchange it for?
  3. Sung to the tune of "You Load 16 tons" "Slow Economy subs, what do you get? Another day older and deeper in debt! Saint Peter don't you call me 'cuz it's not time, My comics are stuck in the SFG line."
  4. Please tell us you got it pressed first. It's a "Fantastic" candidate for a press.
  5. I personally would NEVER spend that much on a PGX. You're rolling the dice. I've bought a couple in the past for under $100, I cracked open one and found a coupon had been clipped out of an interior page.
  6. My "Standard" Sub just moved to GEI today Received 5/18/22 - Status GEI 5/26/22 That was fast.
  7. Does CCS move comics through the "tiers" like CGC does? I submitted a "Standard Tier" comic to have resto removal (it had a tiny bit of CT that I want taken off) and I was wondering if it'll move through CCS at a faster clip since it's a Standard Tier.
  8. perfect. Now I can't get that song out of my head.
  9. According to "Business Insider" Ordering a new Tesla takes 10 months from order date to delivery. Think about this...... you order a Tesla and they start building the car from scratch. 10 months later you get it. Order a submission of "slow economy tier" comics to be graded and it might take a year (or more). Now compare what goes into building a Tesla and what goes into grading and slabbing a comic. Having said this..... I do not want them to rush the grading or the quality control of the slabbing process. I want a good accurate quality product. I just think there's got to be a way to improve TATs on Economy
  10. If you look back at page 1 of this thread (from 9 years ago) you will see your exact Archie 1. I don't know if it changed hands a few times or if you bought it from the boardie who posted it there, but now you know where it was 9 years ago.
  11. 90% of the time when I have tried to remove a rusty staple, it breaks at the bend of the tine. Be careful.
  12. Yup, I paid for a CGC Blue label book. Now the same CGC book is a trimmed book. I'd call that an inconvenience. I seem to remember a JIM 83 (7.0?) that had the same thing happen to it a few years ago. Only that one was high grade. In that instance I believe you made it a Blue label again.
  13. Nice... great investment .... Aren't you happy that you held onto it for the long run and didn't let it go when you sold the ASMs?
  14. It's probably a $32k - $36k comic now. By any chance do you remember what you paid in 1990? Probably less than $1000
  15. Tales to Astonish 31 CGC 6.5 OW - W This comic has the EXACT same back cover as Hulk 1 (if you have a Hulk 1 without a back cover... this is the comic you look for) $350 + $15 shipping
  16. Tales of Suspense 28 CGC 6.5 ow Stonemen of Saturn promo (Korg) $250 + $15 shipping
